US Muslim outfit cautions India over retaliation

WASHINGTON: The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) – the largest Muslim rights group in the US and Canada – while condemning the Mumbai terrorist attacks asked the Indian government to protect its citizens from the type of retaliatory attacks that have followed similar incidents in the past.
CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement, “We condemn these cowardly attacks, and demand that all hostages taken by the attackers be released immediately and unconditionally. We offer sincere condolences to the loved ones of those killed or injured in these senseless and inexcusable acts of violence against innocent civilians. American Muslims stand with our fellow citizens of all faiths in repudiating acts of terror wherever they take place and whomever they target.”
CARE can kiss my ass. They are a terrorist front group and we all know it but the US government will not do anything about it .
LOL ... CAIR’s own questionable associations and actions by many of its leaders cast serious doubt on CAIR’s claims of moderation and pleas for restraint. Some have committed criminal acts themselves; others have ties to organizations with connections to Islamic extremism.
So, with the best intent, I say to CAIR ... eff off.
Translation: “We deplore these attacks, but should you retaliate at any significant level, we caution you that we will stand with our fellow terrorist co-religionists.”
The author's use of the pronoun "its" prevents me from knowing who CAIR wants protected.
We’ve seen attacks against Christians for no real reason. Now we see how the Muslims fare.
Retaliation would be hateful. And if you hate, it means the terrorists win.
I could write this stuff myself. I wonder if there’s a Saudi millionaire out there willing to pay money for this kind of propagandistic acrobatics?
Oh, yeah, there is, but CAIR beat me to it. I guess I’ll just have to do my amateur stream-of-consciousness punditry for free.

The vileness of CAIR approaches that of the NEA.
CAIR is well-positioned in the USA to be the former half of the “good cop/bad cop” dualism. Meanwhile they condemn global acts of terrorism, and at the same time make up hate=crime stories about American Muslims, and weigh in on everything that happens everywhere if it involves Muslims.
What they are about is not terrorism so much as playing the “voice of Islamic reason” in this chaotic world situation. Their ONLY intention is to become political players in our system, and peddle whatever influence they have gained. Don’t be fooled, they seem willing to move very slowly, because they are patient, and they are only abiding living under our system until they have found every available means to exploit, subvert and weaken it.
They’ve gotten very far under 4 negligent, unchallenging years of Bush Administrations, and they will only grown further under Pres. Obama. Expect a few more Keith Ellisons to crop up somewhere , during Obama’s first term.
LOL. But I can’t tell if CAIR wants Muslim citizens of India protected or whether it is Pakistanis, Mayasians, or who.
If I were an Indian, as I am an American, I would tell CAIR to go pound bacon. Or better yet...ham.
Indians for this situation have what we lack (and need):
*A bad temper
*A history of exacting vengeance
*A history of extreme unilateralism
I suspect a lot of followers of the evil muhammed (may he burn forever covered in pork chops) are going to be side by side in h3ll with him.
CAIR never saw a bunch of slaughtering Muslims they didn’t want to glorify and worship.
Why do these jerks pop up every time one of their cohorts does something to “warn” everyone about what they’d better not do? I’m so sick of them. I wish a house would fall on that guy.
The best thing we could do with CAIR is take that fat bastard who always shows up on the TV talk shows on their behalf down to Gitmo and bury him up to his neck in bacon fat.
The world will eventually wake up and re-start the crusades or at least some form of it. I don’t know when, but eventually before its too late.
As if they could do anything but sue in our courts.
All their funding comes from outside the US!
