Meanwhile, as many as 110,000 have signed
WND's petition seeking full disclosure of Obama's information.
The petition cites the U.S. Constitution's requirement that no one can be sworn into office as president without being a natural born citizen. It also asserts there are questions about Obama's reported Hawaii birth, that the Democrat has refused repeated calls to document his birth, that activist judges have declined to require him to shed light on the issue and that Hawaii at the time of Obama's birth allowed parents whose children were born in other locations to registered the birth there.

I’d hold out hope though maybe the pessimists are correct.
This is something that I’d find hard to envision that so much of the country would just throw their hands up and say “big deal” or “we can’t do anything about it.”
It’s a sorry episode alright.

Just because you think it’s impossible to win this, doesn’t mean you are right.
Look how long it took until Bill Clinton was forced to face his accusers. And Clinton was impeached.
Look how long it took for Watergate to catch up with Nixon.
And Nixon resigned.

I have had to show my birth certificate many times - most recently to secure employment, register to vote, and to apply for GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT. Acorn should have to do the same, if there is any doubt about his “natural-born” status. If this legal question is not settled in time, the Electoral College could make Hillary, or any one else, the President. Wouldn’t that be a screamer?!

Chasm? No, not hardly. The population of FreeRepublic is very well informed about political goings-on, but we are a tiny subset of a small minority of Americans. Almost nobody in the US has ever heard of this. Its not an issue. Its not going to be an issue. No court is going to toss out the election results for this. Pretending otherwise is just wishful thinking at best.
Its not right, but that's the way it is.

Correct and the poster who posted the Thesaurus is as well. There will be endless litigation here and I don’t see how he can play the victim when this is such a commonly asked for document of so many people and in fact he is victimizing people. After this, if he goes into power, he can be taken to court for fraud and much more.
Maybe Obama’s economic plan to cut unemployment is to make jobs for lawyers.

Both of you may be pessimistic, but this isn’t over. It may take a while.
And it is gaining momentum in spite of the MSM trying to squelch it, in spite of Google suppressing searches, in spite of Factcheck.org publishing a forged birth certificate, in spite of Hussein’s 800 Million.
Why don’t you go to Daily KOS and post your comments there...they will be delighted to read them.

Here's the thing. Read it and weep: If Jon Stewart, Katie Couric, and Wolf Blitzer (just to throw out a few names) asked the following question in red, the whole country would be very concerned. If these folks (or ones like them) never say anything, then the tree in the forest did not fall. And that is the sad truth. Our world revolves around these schmucky interpreters of reality.
"Can we have a President of the United States who has never proven to the country that he is eligible under the qualifications of the Constitution?"

Two cases are already in SCOTUS’s bailiwick (Berg and Donofrio). A third (Wrotnowski) has landed and been rejected by Justice Ginsburg, but it is being punted over to Judge Scalia.
We may have a landmark ruling before the end of the year - What constitute’s a “natural born citizen”.

Justice Thomas recommended the Donofrio case for conference on Dec 5 (10 days before the electoral college meets to cast its votes). Four of the 9 justices at the private conference must vote in favor of further proceedings. One assumes a quick, emergency hearing should four agree.

If Obama or any of his acolytes were reading your comments, he’d be emboldened. Is that what you want?? Frankly, I’ve had it up to here with appeasers. We need to start letting these people know how angry they’re making us, and if you’re not angry, you should be. Your kind of ‘lie back and enjoy’ it talk Bart is what has allowed them to get away with so much in the past. I want things to change. I don’t want the left to keep winning, and this is one issue where they will not win.

blackbart.223 is right. I understand the need for optimism but the courts have consistently thrown out these cases and I suspect they will do so again. The constitution is being ignored, the laws are being ignored, campaign finance laws are being selectively applied, election day fraud is now unremarkable. The list goes on.
This is getting bad and yeah, Obama being a Carter part deux would be good news. It could get far, far worse and too many of the little snots worshipping at their masters feet would do anything he asked.
