The more time I spend in Berkeley, California (where I am on an extended visit), the more I find myself wondering about something.
Is the left-wing phenomenon known as Obamamania on the wane?
It might be too early to tell, but from what Ive been reading and hearing, I see clear signs that it is. A number of leftist commentators have worked themselves into quite a lather over Barack Obamas apparent centrism especially his failure to appoint progressives (code language for far leftists)...

I totally agree.
Democracy is a sad joke in this country.
Oh good..now they can go back to being the miserable haters that they are.
I share your pessimism. The propaganda coming out of the WH in the next four years will dwarf what the Soviets had during their zenith. Obama will be painted as the greatest leader this country has ever had no matter what he does.
LOL!!!....may he rest in peace..................
They will blame it on Bush just like everything else that might go wrong.
The shuck and jive act gets old quick.
Character is a word you will never come to associate with Obama. Don’t worry, there are plenty of other words.
It has not yet occured to them there will be elections in the future which won't end as favorably.
Good pic, it really is a change I can believe in. [/sarc]
Yep - I don’t think people will wake up until his second term. By then, it will be too late.
Completely lacking in character for sure.
I don’t know what more we could have done to educate people about the man they ultimately decided to elect. Before Hillary was desperately scrambling to retain some power for herself she was telling far more truth about Obama than even McCain got around to. Palin tried, but the media had already painted her in the unflattering light it seems to reserve for all female Pres/Veep candidates. How will people react when eventually they find out that every last word was true?
Watching Obama’s house of cards collapse will be entertaining indeed. But with the media still on his side... who knows how long it will take?
MooseChic, I love your screen name ;-)
Sure, it’s easy to paint whatever you want on an empty canvas.
Reality, on the other hand, is not so pretty. And reality is not what the Left wants.
