Teacher forces teens to question being 'straight'
WorldNetDaily ^ | December 02, 2008 | Drew Zahn

The mother of a Wisconsin teenager was stunned when her high school senior brought home a questionnaire assigned by his English teacher that asked, among several provocative questions, "Is it possible that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?"

The mother, Marilyn Hanson, reviewed the questionnaire and thought it completely inappropriate for any class, but especially for a required English class, where, Hanson told WND, "They should be taught to read and write and prepare for college."

"I really believe this was outright indoctrination to the homosexual viewpoint," Hanson said. "I could see this being discussed in a debate class, where both sides were presented. But the other side was not presented."

Hanson told WND, "I think they're trying to shove [homosexuality] down our throats."

Hanson's son, Alex, originally thought he was required to complete the questionnaire for the next day's class. He was struggling, however, to answer the following questions:

Yes, and isn’t strange how 99% of the rest of the world suffers from the same stress-related disorder.

Don’t you just love the liberal mindset? It’s like their contention that global cooling is a result of global warming.

Wow. Quite a list of weird twisted questions. You think you would be safe in the hinterlands, but from what I’ve heard, it’s not the case.

“Hanson told WND, “I think they’re trying to shove [homosexuality] down our throats.”

Unfortunate choice of words aside, that is exactly right. the issue, however, is not homosexuality, the issue is breaking down the family structure to pave the way for the dependence on the state vital to the socialist system.

Explanation for those questions.

Those are the questions that gay people get,

and the teacher is trying to turn them back around on the hetero kids to make them feel uncomfortable or to make some other point.

This question could be reworded “Is it possible that your homosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the opposite sex?”

Yeah, I got “the point.” Shouldn’t they be discussing Wordsworth, or Hawthorne, or dangling participles?

"Is it possible that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?"

No! It is the great love I have of the opposite sex!

"What do you think caused your heterosexuality?"

Umm! I think I was born that way and knowing that man and woman were made a certain way for a reason!

Destruction of Western Civilization is so much more important than discussing literature - especially Western literature.

The miracle to me is how nearly half the electorate—more at times—seems to have any intelligence at all considering most sat through this crap—including myself.

I toyed with the idea of completing the questionnaire, but it's too silly for words. I think even if I was still a high school senior taking this class I'd be forced into political incorrectness (is that a word?).

In my world there would be a great deal of discussion of lasses no longer shaped like pencils, and what's a hapless lad to do?

In real life I've never had to beat the lasses off with a stick, but in this class I would have to explain the monumental disappointment the women would experience if I kept my affinity to myself. It just wouldn't be right to do that to the fairer among us.

When it came to STD, I'd say ALL women would agree that I am worth the risk.

Is it possible that even in small Wisconsin towns home schooling is the only thing?

Yes, I can see your point in the full list of questions and perhaps too much is being made of an isolated exercise for HS Seniors. If this is what it is, and any true indoctrination would have to start earlier in puberty, it is an edgy assignment which could be handled in an appropriate manner. It would have to be seen in context.

A little ‘street justice’ for the teach is in order.

“and the result of said teachers action?”

Furthering the cause? Confusing social issues with a critical growth process at an inappropriate time and place? Breaking down acceptable boundaries critical to natural growth for teens? Corrupting processes that should be sacrosanct? Personally, I think it is abusive to the child. In extremis. there should be a suit brought against the teacher, the school and the city. This should be treated as emotional and pychological rape.

I think that’s all I’ve got for now...

The answer is, “No, my heterosexuality is the result of my sexual orientation being normally functional in a way conducive to the continuation of the species rather than being abnormal in a way not conducive to the continuation of the species. I’m part of the 95% of the species that’s normal.”
