I'll Say They Did! GMA Graphic: Governor's Family FUED'

Was it a simple typo, or has all the bleeping news out of Chicago liberated ABC to start using some salty language its own? Check out the screengrab from this morning's Good Morning America.
As correspondent Jim Avila came on to narrate a segment about Blago's wife Patty and the conflicts among her, her powerful Chicago pol father, and her husband, the screen graphic read, as you see, "GOVERNOR'S FAMILY FUED." Reading the transcripts of Blago and Patty's colorful conversations, I'll say they did! But surely GMA could have found a more G-rated way of reporting that ;-)

LOL!
I wish I had a dollar for every embarrassing typo on a major news network caption or chyron. There is definitely a proofreader shortage in the MSM.

OK. I don’t mind being naive. Freepmail me with the meaning of those letters. It just seems a stupid misspelling to me.

Freepmail me with the meaning of those letters. If I did, you wouldn't be happy with me.

Try inserting an apostrophe between FU and ED. Think of it as GMA reporting that the Blago family FU’ed a lot ;-)
To: Jemian
It took a while, but I finally figured out that Finkelstein must have read the misspelled word as "F. U.'ed"...

I can say with confidence that you are 100% correct -— given that governs=Finkelstein!
