The Rod Blagojevich scandal has dominated several news cycles, so the Obama team seems to have decided the time is right to distance, distance, distance itself from the corrupt Illinois governor.

...we've all seen what was said by Blago on the tapes, why is it we don't know who he was talking too? After taping him for such a long time, I'm sure his contacts over this “sale” are well known by the FBI. Why is it the second party is not exposed? If everyone is shocked and dismayed, why are they all not asking the same question?...instead of “wondering”. Clearly selling a position is criminal, anyone who is part of the deal should be exposed. Maybe someone with a legal background can explain this to me and others.

Rezko had access to Blagojevich and donated at least $49,000 to his campaign fund through personal and corporate names since 2004. Having money and having access to politicians goes hand-in-hand in Illinois, according to Paul Green, Roosevelt University political science professor.
