“During Shelton’s trial, an expert for the defense testified there was evidence that Bennett swerved into Shelton’s lane. An expert for the prosecution, however, said there wasn’t evidence that Bennett got in her way.”
Fair is fair, if the guy swerved into her lane then he’s partially liable for his own injuries, her being drunk or not.
So you are saying a huge truck changes lanes, soon enough to BE in the lane she was in, and THEN she rear ends him?
Still her fault in any court of law not presided over by her father. She was still drunk driving AND the accident was her fault.
No, a shill for the defense claims there is evidence that Bennet swerved into her lane. She was drunk and has no clue. She should still be in jail, that’s what is not fair.
No. If you're drunk and there's an accident it is YOUR fault. You should NOT have been on the road to begin with. Second, if you rear-end someone, unless they are going in reverse, 99% of the time it is YOUR fault. If someone swerves into your lane worst case should be that you get run off the road.
