The pregnant Alaska teen sees a much more wholesome career ahead of her. In a thank-you letter to author Tori Krop, which she wrote after Krop sent her a copy of her book "The Joy of Pregnancy," Palin wrote: "You have my dream job! I have always been interested in pediatric nursing, and you've inspired me!"

You do know youre on FreeRepublic, right? ;-) Its what we do. Yuppers! Every Freeper is sinless. Never had pre-marita sex, had a back up savings account from the age of two (started from that newspaper route that we started at one in which we did our job through the deepest snow), we are all fit and trim (working out seven times a day). Our spare time is filled with Bible reading, Freeping, and charity work. I haven't seen the inside of my eyelids since 2002.

How on earth can you be so ugly about a family who is taking care of their own and making the best of bad situations which can and do happen to many of us? Just because you do not read headlines about an individual that you approve of does not mean that their undiscovered or unreported past is pristine. Whether you approve or not, the problems that the Palin family are dealing with are typical of those which parents have been facing for years now. Our society accepts recreational sex as normal and promotes sexual activity in any venue available. The results are predictable. I think that the word BASTARD , aside from legal use, is a horrible insult to use against an innocent baby. IMO, you are in far worse shape than the Palins and it shows.

BS. They are engaged, and Levi has Bristol's name tattooed on his finger. It was suggested that the marriage will take place in summer.

Looks like you are trying to redefine ‘obnoxious’ and ‘vitriol’.

You are a bit too much of a busybody concerned with the private life of teenagers, arent you? I don't think so. Others may but I don't. There is an argument for getting married as early in the pregnancy as possible in order that the bride "not be showing" in her wedding dress. There is another school of thought that says if the wedding can't be early in the pregnancy, let it be after so that the bride is able to "get back into shape"
At this point, the birth date is near and for a wedding six months post-partum, plans should should start being made but apparently they aren't.

HOW do you know whether they have started planning or not? WHY would they tell you or the press demons? According to your logic they won't get married because YOU are not entrusted with the details of their marriage... Words fail me.
They are engaged, Sarah Palin said that they will get married. Their word is good enough for me. It should be also for you.

HOW do you know whether they have started planning or not?Rather than consuming bandwidth on a topic of no importance to anyone but the families and friends, let's just drop the matter. If they eventually decide to marry each other, fine. Best wishes to the young family. If not, well, that's their business.
