Its a loss and I feel sad. What he went through I wouldn’t wish on anyone. thank God he has his faith and his family...and he must know that so many of us are grateful for his efforts.

Me, too. Maybe all of this is why I get so teary eyed at times and can not find a reason for it. Of course, I miss my daughter, brother, husband and mom, too.

MYTHS & FACTS ABOUT THE REAL BUSH RECORD
By Ed Gillespie

As the year draws to an end and President Bush enters his final month in office, there is much commentary about the Administration’s record over the past eight years. Unsurprisingly, many of these stories assail and distort the President’s record and recycle myths and unfounded allegations that have been leveled for the better part of his two terms. Historical accuracy requires a response to the litany of attacks leveled against President Bush, and while there’s not enough space to respond to all of them, here are five of the most egregious:

STAFF PRESENTS FOR THE FIRST COUPLE:
EXCLUSIVE: The White House senior staff presented the President and Mrs. Bush with the annual senior-staff gift – two rocking chairs made of mighty oaks from the ranch in Crawford and one that was felled at the White House. The chairs were made near the ranch. A young girl from the community narrated a video showing the chairs being made, ending with a shot of a Texas sunset over the ranch. The presentation was made Friday night at a huge reunion dinner (18 tables of 10) for current and former senior staff and Cabinet officers, including alumni Dan Bartlett, Brad Blakeman, Ari Fleischer, Al Gonzales, Karen Hughes, Brett Kavanaugh, Harriet Miers, Dina Powell and Karl Rove.

Had a good meeting at the hospital they are going to start the ball rolling with a view to getting dad home in 2 - 3 weeks.

I will be seeing a care manager hopefully between Christmas and the new year.

They will be arranging for the necessary equipment to be delivered to our house such as a hoist, possibly a hospital bed, wheel chair etc.

Thank you all for praying for us.

I am whacked will be around hopefully for a bit longer tomorrow.

Night all

Thank you for those links. I think that was
a wonderful gift that the staff gave to the First Couple!

Here is a story I have been hearing today,
and it says it all about our president.
(Maybe you reported it earlier, but it bears repeating!)

"President Bush Comforts Families of Fallen"

What a wonderful man!

Merry Christmas, Deb....everyone!

Hope your meeting went well today!

I don't know when this photo was taken but I had not seen it before.
