ESPN’s Michael Wilbon will find some way to minimize the arrest by talking about how great a person Sir Charles is.

BTW: ESPN’s gasbags are still downplaying it by not talking about it

Query... If J.C. Watts or Jack Kemp was arrested for DUI there lede would be “Former pro football player and Republican ____ was arrested for drunk driving, yada, yada, yada.”

I have always found Charles Barkley to be highly entertaining!!!...I can’t wait for the ‘arrest’ tape to be leaked on you-tube........just another comical chapter in the life of the mound-round of rebound!!!

I personally like the commercial where the waitress says to Dwayne (in reference to Barkley): “Is that your dad?”

Oh, he’s a democrat alright. Spent a lot of time bashing all things republican in recent times.

No doubt he will be screaming ‘racism’ with regard to his arrest.

"Barkley told CNN. "I never thought in my lifetime I'd see a black man get the presidential nomination"

Good to know I'm still smarter than 'Sir Charles'. I had no doubt that in my lifetime I'd see a black man as Presidential nom and President. Probably a woman too..maybe even a black woman!

It will be interesting to see how his 'Auburn Family' will take the news/blame it on rival team Coach Saban. lol

Those commercials with him and Dwayne Wade have 'gay' written all over them.

This one is one of the weirdest:

See if you can find the one you mentioned here:

The “bromance” is the latest theme. In fact, Ryan Seacrest developed a show around it that premiers in January. Ryan’s show “Moma’s Boys” has been on a couple of weeks now.

And now Sir Charles is a 'koo-koo bird.'

I am 'turribully' glad I read the thread before I posted from my inner Frank Caliendo...

Charles Barkley was a great basketball player... but then he retired and started talking... Good job chuck! And hey don’t worry, your a registered democrat now, this won’t hurt your chances at office, just keep playing your race card and you’ll be a shoe in.

As you may know, Chucky played around with being a Pubbie some years ago. But methinks “Mr. Tough Guy” evidently wilted under criticism from his friends and slithered over to the Dummycrat party where his low-life self belongs.

Since he is a Dummycrat, this DUI will just be a resume-enhancement for Chucky’s political ambititions.

Oh trust me, Chucky was doing lots of talking when he was a player. In fact, the sports media loved him because you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth, but they always knew it would usually make good fodder for the 10 pm newz.

He seems like a good guy.

He's a jerk. Especially on the links. I watched him cuss out a volunteer at a charity golf tournament because the volunteer wouldn't get a ball he hit into a gated yard on the course. The man is just plain mean.
