A story in todays New York Times says the United Nations is highly critical of Israels conduct in the Gaza fighting, as if this was a revelation. When has the U.N. not been highly critical of the Jewish State about something or other?
The article says the U.N. lashed out at Israel on Thursday over the war in Gaza, saying that access to civilians in need is poor, relief workers are being hurt and killed, and Israel is woefully neglecting its obligations to Palestinians who are trapped, some among rotting corpses in a nightmarish landscape of deprivation.
Once again, The Times is editorializing in its news pages. Neither the U.N. nor The New York Times has ever expressed similar concern over the humanitarian crises caused by suicide bombers or rocket attacks from Gaza.
There are civilian casualties in every war; thats why it would have been wise for the civilian population of Gaza, which elected Hamas to power, not to have constantly provoked Jerusalem by raining rockets on Israels civilian population.
The Times presents United Nations criticism as if it was coming from an unbiased source. But outside of the Muslim world, Israel has no more implacable foe than the U.N.
In 1975, the United Nations passed a resolution equating Zionism with racism. It took the UN almost 20 years to repeal this obscenity.
In 2003, the General Assembly passed 18 resolutions criticizing Israel for alleged human rights violations, versus 4 critical of other countries. During Israels two wars in Lebanon, the U.N. relief agency UNRWA allowed Palestinian fighters to use its facilities.
The United Nations is on the verge of hysteria over deaths near a U.N. school in Gaza. Apparently, its irrelevant that the Israelis were taking fire from said school. In fact, at least two of the casualties were Hamas fighters. (The Times refuses to refer to them as terrorists, preferring the less judgmental term militants.)
For The New York Times to indict Israel for the suffering of civilians in Gaza by citing the United Nations, is like quoting Osama bin Laden on Americas role in world affairs.
And yet many NY Jewish readers of the NY Times look on it as the gospel from heavens.
Self destructive liberal imbeciles.
There’s this little axis between Times Square and the East River...
Yet the UN says nothing when Hamas launches rockets at Israeli civilians and uses UN schools as bases.
That the New York Times can quote from an organization as corrupted and vile as the United Nations, tells you just how corrupt and vile it has become.
The New York Times ceased having justification for being a long time ago. Of course that’s if you think attacking the U.S., it’s interests, it’s culture, and it’s friends is a bad thing.
“And yet many NY Jewish readers of the NY Times look on it as the gospel from heavens.”
The self-hating liberal Jews are just punishing their parents and grandparents for making thing go to temple.
Sick, Sick, Sick people in charge of the MSM.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
I think it's more than the UN didn't say anything about the rocket launchers, I believe they deliberately provided a "protected" base for launching rockets...and the UN has a history of giving terrorists cover, they did it in Lebanon as well.

The NYT and the entire US media are out of control. I pay no attention to it anymore. I already know how they will report and what they will say on any given subject. I do not buy papers nor do I watch commercials. Waste of time. I imagine they will soon be openly run and by the pirates in the government as they try to keep afloat.
Just think how little actual work it took for Pinch to destroy the extremely valuable assets left him by his family. All he really had to do was remain the airhead leftist he’s always been and bang...junk bond status.
Don Feder is a good guy, but presonally I don’t give a hoot about what the NY Slimes or the UN have to say about the Israel-Hamas conflict. Hopefully, the Slimes will be out of business in the near future. Wish the same could be said about the UN.
The NY Slimes still defends the liar Walter Durante who hid Stalin's genocide against the Ukraine, killing far more people than died in the Holocaust.

It is a rarity when I cannot predict the fake news reports perfectly.
There you go. It is truly amazing what an organization that is publicly advertised as an entity to enlighten the masses is willing to stoop to.
