... Ok, I’m not high and I’m not mighty. I understand that there is corruption at all levels and functions of government, both dems and repubs are guilty. Fact. The only thing I agree with Conasan is for now I’m keeping my mouth shut. I don’t know anything about this author, but I will check him out. That said, if the table turns, then I would say to him, shut up and eat crow feces...

Naw, he didn't steal it. The stupid idiots of the sorry state of Minnesota gave him the over one million votes to just get him close enough to steal it. Without their stupidity, he would not have come close. This moron should never have gotten 10% of the vote. The idiots of Minnesota that voted for this fool are the ones responsible for putting the most inept senator every elected. With absolutely nothing in the way of anything to be a US senator. If Frankenstein is the BEST that Minnesota has to offer the Republic, hey Minnesota, do me a favor and secede from the union and join Canada, where you will fit right in.

Minnesota elected a former make believe ‘rassler. Now a failed liberal talk show host, and Rush wannabe, and failed author of several failed books, and a failed commedian. Yup, ole Minnesota is right on the ball there.

This is just the blanket denial. Conason doesn't get into any detail, so his article isn't worth that much.

And getting called "odious" by Conason or Franken is something to be proud of.

I don't see where he gets off slamming Dick Morris -- Conason's as likely as Morris to go around in a rain coat exposing himself.

Anyway, here's an article I googled that appears to have some substance: Minnesota Ripe for Election Fraud. Somebody should do some follow-up.

Salon, your non-denial denial is duely noted.

Coleman is in the process of doing just that. Let the process play out.

Two of its five members are Supreme Court judges appointed by Tim Pawlenty, the state's conservative Republican governor, each with a long record of loyal service to the GOP; a third is a nonpartisan elected judge; a fourth was appointed by former independent Gov. Jesse Ventura; and only one, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, is a Democrat. At the outset, Coleman's own lawyers accepted the panel's membership, as did everyone else, including Franken, who might have protested that his own party had only one member.

I cannot believe this statement to be true as I have read that he entire Canvassing Board was comprised as Democrats.

There were never any ballots from anyone’s trunk. One of Coleman’s lawyers once said that he was told ballots had been found in someone’s trunk but he never provided any sources and the person who supposedly found ballots in a trunk said it was false.

It was not, that was just one more myth that was propagated about the recount...

I wasn't sure about this race until Conason chimed in.

Now I *KNOW* it's stolen.

appreciate the update. I’d seen footage of this supposed trunk and never heard anything to refute it. (But then I don’t watch MSNBC this might be one fact I didn’t catch).

Good to have friends who can keep you from sounding like an idiot in public...

Gratzia.

If this Canvassing Board was really so balanced, the media would refer to it as being ‘GOP leaning’ or some other perjorative. Thus, the Board must be known to be safely comprised with people who are milquetoasty and/or just liberal.

But then I remember when the Florida Supreme Court was referred to constantly as being ‘non-partisan’ even though it was composed of entirely liberal judges appointed by Democrat governors. Never a mention to the liberal makeup of the court, never a big profile of how liberal any of them were.

Let’s face it, Florida was the one and only time that we managed to stop the Democrats from winning an election AFTER all the votes were cast. In every other case I can find, the GOP candidate loses after either ‘new votes’ are discovered or there are enough recounts to get the total to the Dem side at which point the election is quickly declared over. As long as a democrat is behind anywhere, the election is either not over or it was not fair.

they don’t do any forensics. But Norm Coleman ought to be the first because any DFL member with a pencil could account for the astronomical divergence between voting patterns on the democrat side of the ticket amongst different categories of ballots. No logic can explain it. But undoubtedly Johnny Cochran could have come close.

Joe Conason's hysetrical, screaming queen reaction to those accusing Franken of stealing the election is very strong proof of two things:

(1) Liberals can never respond rationally to anything critical of one of their own.

(2) The heated reaction reveals that Conason himself knows Franken has been trying to steal the election and is deathly afraid his critics will prove their case.
