Father, in just 10 short days, our President won't be our President any more. One who does not reflect hardly any of our values will move into 1600 Pennysylvania Avenue, and our hearts are sad. This service has been difficult on President Bush. It has aged him. Yet, I do believe he has tried to be a great leader in some extremely trying times. Surely You have blessed him.
For the next 10 days, I pray that You would bless him still. Give him wisdom and courage to do what is right. Lord, don't let competing voices draw him from you. Let Your truth prevail through the end of the administration - for unless You intervene, it is doubtful that that which pleases You will be prevalent in the next.
I pray Lord for Israel. Though the world be against her, You are for her and so are we. Help her to overcome her enemies. Help her to return to her God.
Go with us I pray and be with our church services this day. May Your gospel ring across the land that needs it as never before. For it is in Jesus' Holy name that I pray, Amen.

May God bless this wonderful family. I will miss President Bush in Washington but am so happy he and Mrs. Bush will come back to Dallas. God bless our leaders, our military and their families, and America. God bless all who pray with us.
