If the President hasn't already pardoned Lewis (Scooter) Libby, I beg him to reconsider and do so, for Libby is an innocent man.
Most of what people believe about the Scooter Libby case was proven wrong at trial. Many wrongly believe: 1) Libby leaked the CIA employment of Valerie Plame; and 2) he then lied to cover his leaking.

Once again, the liberals have rewritten history to reflect their opinion instead of the facts. Add to that the megalomaniacal prosecutor’s version of truth and there you will find injustice.

And I don't know where the idea came from that Scooter was some loyal GOP stalwart. He wasn't. He was just another hired gun scumbag lawyer.
He should be rotting in prison just for defending Marc Rich.

If Barack Obama would like to destroy what little is left of the GOP, he should grant pardons to Libby, Ramos and Compean immediately after assuming office.
I am amazed at the persistence of this misinformation. Libby advised Rich years before on a tax issue. He did not represent him or have anything to do with his pardon which was handled by Clinton friend and former appointee, Jack Quinn.
And if you’d bother to read the article, the author is not claiming that Libby deserves a pardon because he is a Republican stalwart.Rather, that he merits one because he’s innocent. And he is.
You make a good point. Libby did work for Cheney and if Cheney wants him pardoned, I’m sure all he has to do is say the word.

according to the Ap and Newsweek, the President has not and will not pardon Libby. Sad. And Disappointing.
