California Dems Introduce Bill To Allow Communist Indoctrination in Public Schools (Little Green Footballs 3-06-08 Charles Johnson)

Here’s the PDF file: sb_1322_bill_20080220_introduced.pdf

(1) The Civic Center Act requires the governing body of a school district to grant the use of school property, when an alternative location is not available, to nonprofit organizations, and clubs or associations organized to promote youth and school activities. Existing law also prohibits an individual, society, group, or organization from using school property for the commission of any act intended to further a program or movement the purpose of which is to accomplish the overthrow of the government of the United States or of the state by force, violence, or other unlawful means.

This bill would permit the school board to require the furnishing of information as it deems necessary to determine that the use of school property for which application is made would not violate that provision.

This bill would also delete provisions regarding a person who intends to use school property on behalf of an organization to deliver a statement, signed under penalty of perjury, that the organization is not a Communist action organization or Communist front organization required to be registered with the Attorney General of the United States or does not, to the best of that person’s knowledge, advocate the overthrow of the government of the United States or of the State of California by force, violence, or other unlawful means.

(2) Under existing law, a permanent or classified school employee, or a classified community college employee may be dismissed from employment for specified causes, including, but not limited to, commission of a felony.

This bill would delete provisions that a permanent or classified school employee, or a classified community college employee may be dismissed from employment if he or she is a knowing member of the Communist Party

(3) Existing law prohibits a teacher from giving instruction and prohibits a school district from sponsoring any activity that reflects adversely upon a person because of his or her race, sex, color, creed, handicap, national origin, or ancestry.

This bill would delete provisions that prohibit a teacher giving instruction in a school or on property belonging to an agency included in the public school system from teaching communism with the intent to indoctrinate or to inculcate in the mind of any pupil a preference for communism. The bill would also delete provisions that a teacher may be dismissed from employment if he or she teaches communism in that way.

(4) Under existing law, a public employee is required to answer, under oath, specified questions, including, but not limited to, knowing membership in an organization advocating the forceful or violent overthrow of the government of the United States or of any state.

This bill would delete these provisions. The bill would also delete related findings and declarations by the Legislature regarding communism and the Communist Party.

Looks like Chris Matthews is auditioning to be the BHO’s very own Paul Joseph Goebbels.

If it weren't for double standards, the media wouldn't have any standards.

Missy: These are tired, old, partisan cheap shots

The same words could have been used against him for the last 8 years.

Mail in postcards. They may wind up in the trash but it all slows down the mailroom. And doesn’t carry any threat. And is cheaper than a letter.

You can probably get pre-stamped postcards from the postoffice (rather than paying 75 cents for a graphic postcard).

The volume of hate mail will not be lost on the networks.

Ultimately, I suggest dropping your cable/digital/satellite subscription for the next four years. Even if you do not watch MSNBC, your monthly bill is being shared with them.

Either they become more accountable to the viewing public and present a critical account from both leading perspectives (left AND right) in politics or the digital companies need to stop bundling programming as a means of hiking the monthly bill price (why pay for 350 channels a month for $60, when you are only regularly watching 6-17 of them?).

Lordy, Lordy. Chrissy Mathews does not begin to understand what the role of a free press is, in our constitutional republic.

Nothing new to me. The Nazis and the Communist party generally had the same ultimate goals. The difference was that the communist party was an established world-wide socialist movement where the Nazis were a nationalist movement with world domination goals. The communist theory was developed in the 1800s, Hitler was still getting his movement going but he was still a socialist POS who hated the communists because they were a bigger threat to his schemes than anyone else.

BO and the truly radical/socialist democrat party has only gelled over about the last 40 years so BO and his buddies are newbies against a federal constitution that stands in the way of them claiming total power. Communist or Nazi, it matters not. They are still the enemy to the constitution and they are attempting the same type of power grab the Nazis did and using a lot of the same technicques.

The whole (expletive deleted) party should have been outlawed in 1865 like the Nazis were after WWII.

There are few in the MSM more deserving of contempt than Chrissy Matthews, b/c he is so blatantly biased and dishonest, yet has one of the largest egos around, imagining that he is God’s gift to journalism and politics.. The gap between his self-perception and the reality is bigger than the Grand Canyon.

I love the times when I flip the remote and accidentally see Matthews on the screen. I fully extend my arm, take careful aim, slowly but deliberately and with steady presence, press the channel button and POW! He’s gone.

Have you read anything about this in mainstream media? Executive Order 12919, signed by Bill Clinton June 3, 1994.

I was listening to Clinton nomination hearings this morning when they decided to break before finalizing her confirmation. Watching for brief period of time, I only heard Republicans supporting her nomination. The conflicts of interest are the most glaring of any I have ever seen.

Read Executive Order 12919: Signed June 3, 1994, by President Clinton.
