Enough with the ‘filibuster-proof majority’ already. The very first time that 41 Senate votes stand in the way of the Democrats getting something passed, they will do away with the filibuster rule by simple majority.
My college roommate was the lead prosecuting attorney who put Setencich away.
Sadly enough, that will probably be the extent of it.
Good job.
yup... damn shame too
Yeah, though the exact equivalent would’ve been if the rodents had made Decker Speaker.
Dem’s have been running as republicans for a long time now but they have a D at the end of their name.
Once they get in however they dont do what they run on thus fooling a certain population
...and I imagine in Tennessee it wouldn’t be too tough to find a Zell Miller type Democrat or two who ought to be republicans anyway. Sounds like TN needs a Jesse Hellms or Terry Dolan type leader who is not afraid to kick somebody in the gonads in order to win.
“The full-court press is on, and the GOP is the Washington Generals.”
Dead Rinos and roll-overs to lead us. We’re screwed.
I expected once we obtained a majority that a number might switch parties. It’s still going to take getting rid of the 2-ton carcass of Boss Hogg Naifeh to free the House body from real tyranny. He’s the one still running the show.
Hey look at this.
In an article 1 day before he soiled himself it says he’d back a GOP Speaker. But supports the rat comptroller and is “not sure” about supporting his parties nominee for Treasurer.

And I see he doesn’t vote to schedule votes on the statewide offices. Do they need to be reappointed or can they serve indefinably?
The GOP is still successfully screwing up at all political levels! How can the GOP really prove to me that it actually has learned its lessons of the past when these recent, similar screw ups in both Tennessee and Texas have already occurred? I’m seriously not convinced that the GOP will ever actually come back as a “all conservative, all of the time, on all of the issues” political party from now on and for always!
Thank you for all the info you posted on this thread. Even if it has made me furious.
The three Constitutional offices must be elected at the beginning of each session every two years. If he is delaying a vote to meet in joint session to elect them, he’s clearly in violation of the Constitution. The man has already demonstrated his incompetence and needs to be tied wholly and completely to the Democrats.
Oh, and I was informed on Campfield’s site that supposedly 6 Democrats claimed they would vote for Mumpower. None did, so there was a LOT of lying and deceit that went on.
Oh, and for all those folks posting in this thread, I thought you might email this lying weasel and let him know EXACTLY what you think of his despicable conduct and demand his immediate resignation. If he wishes to serve as a Democrat, he can quit and run in a special election for his own vacancy.

I’m sure I’d have anything to say to this pig. Even if I did he’d just ignore it anyway.
The theft of fair elections continues. The Dems sure how to disenfranchise people. Of course Kent Williams would attempt to justify the theft by saying the TN GOP tried to race bait on Michelle Obama and refused to condemn Chip Saltsman’s Magic Negro CDs. After all, he’s doing it for the blacks.
