Palin battles Anchorage Daily News over Trig Trutherism

An obligatory link on a day when she’s ripping “pathetic” smearmongering bloggers in the pages of Esquire and the Trig Truther-in-chief is poised to win Best Blog. She serves:

[I]s your paper really still pursuing the sensational lie that I am not Trig’s mother? Is it true you have a reporter still bothering my state office, my very busy doctor (who’s already set the record straight for you), and the school district, in pursuit of your ridiculous conspiracy?…

Come on Mr. Doyle and Mr. Dougherty, I so desperately want to have even a tiny bit of faith in the ADN.

And the ADN volleys:

You may have been too busy with the campaign to notice, but the Daily News has, from the beginning, dismissed the conspiracy theories about Trig’s birth as nonsense. I don’t believe we have ever published in the newspaper a story, a letter, a column or anything alleging a coverup about your maternity. In fact, my integrity and the integrity of the newspaper have been repeatedly attacked in national forums for our complicity in the “coverup.” I have personally received more than a 100 emails accusing me and the paper of conspiring to hide the truth…

If that’s true, then why has [an ADN reporter] been asking questions about Trig’s birth?

Alaska has a fairly robust murder rate, and apparantly with good reason if the editors at ADN are typical of the “edumacated class”.

Trig was born April 8th, Bristol’s baby was born December 29th.

Now how would Bristol give birth on 4/8 and again on 12/29 to a normal weight baby? Extremely unlikely. I’ve heard of a years difference but not 8 months although I suppose it isn’t absolutely impossible.

Could be....

They sure don't want to quit...maybe it is to generate News and sell subscriptions...dunna...anyway poking around I found this:

The Governor Strikes Back: Five New Quotes from Sarah Palin

***************************EXCERPT*************************

January 13, 2009, 7:43 AM

Last week, the former vice-presidential candidate lashed out at the media's coverage of her campaign. In a brand-new "What I've Learned" interview with Esquire, excerpted here in advance of the March issue, Palin goes even further.

Palin on Bloggers and the World of Journalism
"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom. And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."

The Richardson Report: 57 Lies the Republican Party Wants You to Believe Right Now

A sampling: Socialist Democrats ruined the economy. Homeless people are mythical creatures. Sarah Palin's friends are totally harmless...

By John H. Richardson

[more from this author]

*************************Selective Excerpt regarding Palin***************************

And consider Sarah Palin’s associations with actual wackjob revolutionaries who want to overthrow the country right now. Salon.com broke this story and the gobsmacking mystery is that nobody in the media is following up. You should read the article, but here are just a few of the salient points:

A.) For seven years, from 1995 to 2002, Todd Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party, which wants Alaska to secede from the United States.

B.) The lunatic who started AIP, Joe Vogler, said: "My government is my worst enemy. I’m going to fight them with any means at hand." Vogler preached armed insurrection and said that he hoped the Feds wore red coats because it made them "better targets." He made a deal with the government of Iran to sponsor an appearance at the U.N. in 1993.

*********************

Guess that was an old one...just prior to the November 4 election day....

I’ve never heard any of them mention how much Chelsea Clinton looks like Web Hubble, now that would be [news]. She looks more like him every time I see her and she is not a pretty site.

“The hypocrisy is staggering.”

And all we heard after Clinton got his BJ’s in the Oval Office was: “It’s his personal life.”

Again, a bunch of horse puckey by the Lame Stream Media.

Check out http://www.TeamSarah.org to find out what you can do to help Gov. Palin.

I’m putting up posters in my yard on the 20th and then going off where no television or computer can find me for the day. (Hiking with the dogs or if it’s bad weather, PetsMart.)

The UP side of all this media exposure is . . . media exposure. The Liberals are so ignorant that they keep harping about Gov. Palin which just puts her name out there in the Public . . . and Name Recognition is very important in the electoral process.

I’d move to Alaska but I can’t tolerate cold weather.

"My government is my worst enemy. I’m going to fight them with any means at hand."

And what exactly is wrong with that statement?

The liberals who wanted trig dead are not “pro-choice” they are pro-abortion and consider a birth defect to be a “quality of life” issue.

Even the March of Dimes now uses abortion to “prevent” birth defects. Prevent the birth, and there is no defect. Just like the Iranian president says “we don’t have any of these type of problems”.

I have an aunt that’s first to kids are 9.5 months apart and the second one was a 5# baby. So yes unless the second was a extremely small premie it is impossible.

Republicans and conservatives should not support Sarah Palin because she has been marginalized and demonized by the MSM beyond repair and the point of no return. So we should discard our superstar, throw her under the bus because critics do not like her. That’s like saying the owner of the Indianapolis Colts should dump Peyton Manning because the sports writers of America claim he is overrated and incompetent and has only has won 1 Super Bowl. Those of us over 30 who have witnessed the personality and speech making ability of many politicians know a superstar when we see one. Sarah is a full-fledged superstar—enjoying immense popularity and displaying a competence rare among the current Republican roster. To those who wants to throw Sarah under the bus, beware-the GOP may not find another superstar among its ranks for another 20 years.
