9/11 was a watershed for Obama as it ushered in his refusal to wear a flag pin or recite the Pledge of Allegiance without his hand over his heart.
But, when Obama made his finishing touches to that polarizing speech he spoke at the 2004 DNC, Obama made special mention of alleged hate crimes that had only bgone against Arab Americans after his 9/11. IN his keynote address for Kerry at the 2004 Democratic Convention, He puposefullly ignored millions of Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian-Americans, Native Americans, and Polynesian Americans, when Obama said that he would stand with Arab-Americans should the political winds take an ugly turn."
Does that mean Obama is only going to step a side with the Arab Americans terrorists of the "political winds take an ugly turn."
How nice for them to shield only the Arab Americans during the next terrorist attacks, and how not nice for Jews, Christians, Hindus, and all of the multi-ethnic majority.
It’s an ill wind that blows no good, I think that’s how it goes. One beneficial side effect of 9/11 (not that it would ever justify what happened) is that it forced public persons to take a side. Bush took one side. Obama took the other. Many of our politicians, pundits and other celebrities have been revealed for what they are by how they reacted to 9/11. And we have been able to react to them as we see fit. Just off the top of my head I can think of Bush, Obama, McKinney, McCain, Guiliani, Powell, the Dixie Chicks, that repulsive pundit whose name escapes me but he made the comment about the “courageous” hijackers, O’Donnell, Rev. Wright, Penn, etc. We now know where they stand.
Yes, it would be a tradgedy. But it would be one I could live with.

I don’t know about that... I think if he had gone a lot of you would be criticizing him for trying to upstage Bush. I think it was better for Bush to be able to deliver his speech without Obama distracting the press and everyone else.
If they go after Bush, they can expect massive civil disobedience and protests.
I’ll be skipping all the Pepsi products we come across. We started tonight by not going to Pizza Hut when our daughter requested it. Then I put back the bag of Tostitos that hubby had picked up. At the check-out, I discovered a bottle of Pace salsa that had to be returned to the shelf. The stuff just makes me fatter, so it’ll do our family good to avoid it. hah.

Umm the Secret Service is required to follow an itinerary that keeps the President and the POTUS away from each other as much as possible to prevent catastrophic occurrences from happening. I am assuming Obozo watched from the limo or where ever he was at. Plus, it was President Bush’s event and having the cameras on Obozo during the event was probably not the desired effect for Bush’s last address
