The hypocrisy and anti-female gutter politics of liberals are well known, but that does not mean there are not knew depths yet to plumb.Take for example the President of the United States, Barack Obama. His authorized official Twitter account follows an account called “Sarah Palin’s Vagina @palinsvagina”.The avatar for the account is a photo of a taco.‘Taco’ is used as a crude euphemism for women’s private parts.Sarah Palin is the former governor of Alaska and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee. Since her nomination in the summer of 2008 liberals have engaged in a relentless crude sexist attack on Palin that would not...

To save time and syllables, we’re going journo-green today. Thus “common sense” will be replaced by “it,” as in “getting it.” And that’s the point: “it” doesn’t matter, not anymore. It doesn’t matter that the absurd, the grossly inaccurate and the just plain stupid easily can be eliminated. It is what it is. And that’s it. There will be no deviation from, let alone elimination of, the ridiculous, no matter how self-evident.

The White House, either not caring about or not understanding the show of disrespect, actually posted video of the moment on Instagram. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foufSP5IoJ8 This is actually even worse than forgetting to salute, don’t you think?

On Monday, the funeral of 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was shot under disputed circumstances by Officer Darren Wilson, took place. Slated attendees included Snoop Dogg, Governor Jay Nixon (D-MO), Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO), P. Diddy, Spike Lee, Jesse Jackson, and giving the eulogy, Al Sharpton. The White House has also sent three aides to the funeral: Broderick Johnson of My Brother’s Keeper Task Force; Marlon Marshall, deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement; and Heather Foster, adviser for the Office of Public Engagement. Which begs the question: why would the Obama administration send not one but three...

SNIP The atmosphere was totally relaxed – I didn’t see anything shocking in my viewfinder, president of the US or not. We are in Africa. I later read on social media that Michelle Obama seemed to be rather peeved on seeing the Danish prime minister take the picture. But photos can lie. In reality, just a few seconds earlier the first lady was herself joking with those around her, Cameron and Schmidt included. Her stern look was captured by chance. I took these photos totally spontaneously, without thinking about what impact they might have. At the time, I thought the...

Few are the men and women in American public life who haven't heard Mr. Dooley's famous aphorism: "Politics ain't beanbag." John Boehner, currently serving out his community service as speaker of the House, appears to have been meditating on Mr. Dooley's cautionary wisdom. At the Ripon Society last week he said the Obama administration was trying "to annihilate the Republican Party." Better late than never, Speaker Boehner now sees that Barack Obama's notion of political competition is Mad Max inside the Thunderdome: "Two men enter, one man leaves." Princeton University Professor Dr. Cornel West appeared on the Tavis Smiley radio show on Thursday where he weighed in with his thoughts on how the media and lawmakers are responding to the tragic massacre of teachers and children in Newtown, Connecticut. West expressed his frustration over how eagerly the media demanded a conversation about gun laws after Newtown, but seems unmoved by endemic gun violence in America’s cities where the victims are primarily minorities. “We can’t just shed tears for those on the vanilla side of town,” West said.” They are precious, but they are no less or more precious...

First CLASS, What Next? In a Friday bad-news dump that was a whopper even by its own standards, the Obama administration added to the announcement of a near-record annual deficit and an escalation of undeclared war in Uganda the news that the CLASS Act, an ill-conceived adjunct of the Affordable Care Act, is no more. Video: Thunderous boos for Miss USA at Miss Universe pageant — in Mexico City; posted at 7:41 am on May 29, 2007 by Allahpundit And is that a chant of “Mexico” I hear while the question’s being asked? Ah, well, don’t worry — that sort of thing will be magically assimilated away once they cross the border, join the next gran marcha, and have the Mexican flag they’re carrying replaced with a small American one by an “immigration rights” advocate who knows what plays well on TV and what doesn’t.Let it be noted, too, that apparently this sort of thing’s...

Las Vegas police are reporting a high number of arrests over NBA All-Star weekend. As of Sunday, nearly 300 people involved in N-B-A-related festivities have been booked into the Clark County Detention Center since Thursday. Police say the arrests range from outstanding warrants, trespassing, battery burglary, loitering and disorderly conduct. That number doesn't include 400 or so routine arrests police make in a 48-hour period. Thousands of people have poured into the city for tonight's game -- and the dozens of related parties.

New York Post WRITE LETTERS@NYTIMES.COM January 13, 2007 -- The White House denounced the remarks as "outrageous" and "tacky." Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she found it all "a bit confusing." Former Rep. Elizabeth Holtzman - as fiercely partisan an anti-war liberal Democrat as you can find - said the statement was flat-out wrong. But there wasn't a single word about it in The New York Times. No, as far as the nation's putative paper of record is concerned, Sen. Barbara Boxer's over-the-top personal assault on Rice - the most dramatic moment of the hours-long grilling to which the...

You can take the man out of CNN - and stick him in Congress - but you can't take the CNN out of the man. As per this Robert Novak column, Steven Kagen, a Democrat elected in November to represent a Wisconsin district in Congress, recently bragged of having insulted First Lady Laura Bush, President Bush, Vice-President Cheney and Karl Rove at a White House function for new members. The details of Kagen's insults, set forth below, boggle the mind. What kind of person would do something like this? The kind of person that CNN would hire to be a...

Karl Rove Gets No Apology From Me September 14, 2006 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So where’s my apology to Karl Rove? That’s what many readers want to know: Having accused Karl Rove of leading a conspiracy within the Bush White House to reveal the identity of undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame, don’t I owe Rove an apology now that former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage has admitted that he, not Rove, was Novak’s primary source? Well, here’s my answer: Hell, no! Armitage’s involvement doesn’t disprove the Rove conspiracy. It only proves it was a lot wider than we originally thought. We remember...
