Presidential legacies are largely judged by foreign policy and the impact of judges. Alas, seldom do deficits ever matter unless they are Reagan's.

In that regard, when it's all said and done in about 20 years, Bush will have a much, much more favorable view than today. He may crack the top 25 or 20, when it is learned how total the defeat of al-Qaeda was.

History will give Dubya the respect he deserves.
In the meantime, I will miss him and Laura, the kindness and compassion they have always shown and the genuine love of America throughout their years in the White House.
