For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus - and non-believers. To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West - know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.
Good luck with that. Will he find that mutual respect reciprocated? Do the Saudis treat us with respect when they fill Islamic schools and mosques in America with

Anyone notice in the presidential inaugural speech how BHO listed America’s religions as Christians, Muslims, Jews and Buddhists - in that order?
A bit unseemly in my book.
Another example of Obama’s lack of realism. We are not to blame for Islamic fanaticism directed at us. We were not hostile to Muslims until Muslims attacked us. We are tolerant. Islam is not. Obama should not put the responsibility on us.

Simpleton? Naive? Forrest Gump? Clearly, Barack Obama does not understand what drives the jihadis. This is sophomoric beyond belief, and potentially dangerous to all of us.
There is something disturbing though and it froze in my mind. I watch cable channel 14 from Detroit. A very impressive and indeed educated man is one Tavis Smiley, is is a man of African-American heritage. A youngish type chap, all very white middleclass was throwing soft balls at Tavis. It was brought up that slave labour had built the White House. I wondered about the craftsmen being carpenters and roofing men. The plumbers and simple labourers who can stand heights.
So far so good. Now to the election of the new President. The young man turned to hear Smiley's absolute grateful condescension. Smiley, a large handsome man, suddenly changed. His face and voice got hard, herewith:
That is just a down payment.
A feeling of slight nausea came over me. I would not want to get in Smiley's face. The real Tavis.
I read this as: we’ll screw Israel.
When are American moslems going to declare war on Obama’s “gay” friends?

Sounds like the Chicago way to me, and Obama himself in particular. Time will tell, but I suspect this is the path Obama will take as President. He is already deceitful, having promised transparency yet withheld documentation about his past.
The Democrats are desperate to silence Hannity, Cunningham, Rush, and anyone who will broadcast or speak out against their socialist agenda.
I fully expect to see the U.S. Constitution shredded by this Congress and Administration.

I have no respect for the Muslim world. For damn good reason. I have not forgotten 9-11, the day the Muslims showed their mutual respect for us.
The muslim world is going to have to learn to “respect” Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, former muslims, etc.
Tolerance is a two way street. Showing tolerance toward racial supremacists means ‘submitting’ to the supremacists and their bigoted worldview.
The muslim world doesn’t see nationalities. It sees a world of muslims and kufir. A non-muslim can be of the same nationality but still considered a second class citizen (or outcast) because he is not a muslim (or “worse” a former muslim).
The Left also thought it was hilarious to laugh at McCain because his arms are stiff. Of course, they are that way because he was tortured for years in prison and they broke his arms.
Today they are laughing at Dick Cheney in a wheelchair.
They laugh at cripples. No wonder they abort babies that aren’t “right” (even if the reason is only wanting twins rather than triplets or a boy rather than a girl).

Look at the 50+ page questionaire (including requessts for blogger names, email addresses, past infractions etc.) required of all Obama staffers and then the "no big whoop" attitude when it comes to unpaid income taxes, payola for pardons, Saudi donations to the Clinton fund, etc. LIES. Nothing but Lies about transparency and accountability.
Respect in the Muslim world is that the infidels are expected to respect Islam and the Muslims will also respect Islam.
Except there is a huge difference between the jihadis doctrine - sharia or death - and that of the China or Russia, sovereign nations that understand, maybe not respect, the existence of other nations, if not the rights of its own people, and can be dealt with state-to-state.
A way forward?
If I recollect, it was George Bush who pledged the blood and treasure of the United States to creating a democracy in Iraq.
I guess that just isn’t good enough for Muslims.
Worse, it just isn’t good enough for our beloved 0.
