Bush Mocked As He Arrives on Inauguration Dais @ 11:52 am by Hill Staff

The crowd packed on the west side of the Capitol grounds serenaded President Bush in mocking fashion when he took to the inaugural stage alongside Vice President Dick Cheney.

"Nah nah nah nah, hey hey, good-bye," a section of the crowd chanted.

The crowd packed immediately below the podium received Bush in stony silence when he took his seat on the stage surrounding the podium where Barack Obama was scheduled to take the oath office to become the 44th president of the United States.

The jeers are among the final public feedback Bush will receive as president.

First Lady Laura Bush and Lynne Cheney received light applause when they were announced to the crowd.

Bush is scheduled to depart from the East Front of the Capitol by helicopter after the swearing-in ceremony.

Obama received the loudest sustained cheers from thousands who chanted his name.

Before Obama took the stage the crowd gave its warmest welcome to former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.)

Vice-president elect Joe Biden also Michelle Obama also received warm welcomes.

House Democratic lawmakers formed a raucous audience from the section of seats rising immediately south of the speaker's podium.

They launched into a "Rahmbo" chant when they spotted White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.

We’ll have to remind Holder et al that the Dems were complicit in whatever crimes Bush is accused of. The approved Bush’s actions in Congress.....this it the pot calling the kettle......

He represents a free lunch, an easy job and an apartment or home with little or no effort. If you commit I crime, Obama fights for less punishment. If you do drugs, he approves. If you kill your unborn children, he will pay for it. If you work hard and save, he will tax you to pay for that smelly 20-year old.

The Marxists have infiltrated the media, education, law, government and businesses...only an armed revolution will cut out the cancer.

I fear it may come sooner than imagined.

It was probably that "section of the crowd" that was jeering President Bush. And I thought the Clinton era was marked by amazingly low class. We ain't seen nothin' yet, of that I'm positive.

I heard booing when his name was announced, too. Disgusting and childish.

I wonder how the crowd will react towards the big O on the Inauguration Day of his successor. Last laughs are always the best. The Left can’t help themselves, they will piss in their own pool soon enough. Just sit back and let it happen.

Why, oh WHY, didn’t Bush pardon himself and his entire Administration last night? WHY? These jackasses (perfect symbolism there) are going to do it ... they have NO sense of propriety and will destroy this country over their BDS.

Used to be that these kinds of idiots were in the extreme minority of this country. Gradually that has changed over the past 40 years and there is now enough of them to capture a majority of votes when the mushy middle of the electorate aligns with them.

I didn't realize this was taken today at the inaugural event. No doubt Rahm's gesture was aimed at Republicans. "We're in charge now!" Meanwhile, the Democratic congressional delegation was shouting, "Rahmbo! Rahmbo!" Yeah, he's going to save the country, all right. Him and his grandiose Plan.

Dude, once is enough. :-)

I remember how the donky’s acted over the last 8 years and I as an elephant will never forget. When they start to see the cracks in their idol they will realize what fools they are and I hope they will have enough intellegence to learn from their mistakes. I doubt it but I can hope. For the next 4 years (and I hope that is all) I will repeat my tag line over and over when MulaObama says and does the ignorant things that he will do.

These people are representative of O and his ilk.

Lacking in class or a shred of dignity.

Piggy little children. Frankly, such behavior is too immature for even children.

Well one thing for sure, when Obama leaves office in 4 years or less and our new person takes over, Obama will not leave being mocked, he will leave to at least light applause, because we are not them, and as angry as I am that they did that, I am happier to know we, even tho we may want to, would not.
