A reporter for The Nation magazine reported today that the President Barack Hussein Obama support group Code Pink held a witchcraft ceremony to 'cleanse' the White House on President Bush's last full day in office.
One of Code Pink's leaders, Jodie Evans, was an early financial supporter of Obama's, serving as a bundler for his campaign and donating the maximum to his primary and general election campaigns, as well as thousands of dollars to the Obama Victory Fund. Code Pink also organized get out the vote efforts for Obama.
Code Pink's affiliation with witchcraft was present at its creation--a Wiccan who calls herself Starhawk is a co-founder of the group.
Last year, Code Pink held a witchcraft ceremony at the Berkeley Marine Corps officer recruitment center.
Victor Navasky, in his report in The Nation titled The Work has Begun wrote of his train ride to Washington yesterday for the inaugural that his seatmate, Joanna Lawrence, was planning to attend a "shoe-in", or shoe-out, to protest President Bush on his last day in office.
He wrote:
It also included a rally organized by Medea Benjamin, who was joined by witches from CodePink and Kate Clinton, the comedienne, whose object would be to "cleanse the White House." Don't Ask.
Besides invoking witchcraft against the United States, Code Pink also works with state sponsors of terrorism and the terrorists in Iraq to undermine America in the war on terror. And Code Pink works with President Obama.
God help us, please.
Yep.
It’s a battle as old as the Garden of Eden.
Thanks! that was very well written.
These people get funds by giving Tarot card readings (often to celebrities) and doing astrology “maps” for their clients’ lives. And no telling how the real hard-core occult groups get their money, don’t even want to imagine.
When I lived a few years in Santa Monica (long time ago), there was a witch there who gave readings for Lily Tomlin and other people. She also ran a small occult bookstore.
She was a friend of a friend of mine. I was shocked how much witchcraft there was being practiced in L.A.
Glad I left there when I did, though I know it is practiced in other areas too, unfortunately.
LOL! Isn’t that the crazy broad that was sprinkling her fairy dust on the protestors outside the VP residence during the good old “Get out of Cheney’s house” demonstrations.
Another example of how you just can’t make this stuff up...

God help us.....
Ephesians 6:10-12:
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
So you're bascially saying O is screwed come springtime.
Hey! As Freud said, sometimes a phallic object is only a phallic object.
Why isn’t code punk calling for impeachment for slow withdrawal from Iraq, increase in troops in Afghan, and rockets shot into Paki? I want to see my anti-war lovelys be consistent. Smoothie fasts for all!
Greetings!
I found this page interesting and felt that this site needed a resident Witch, if only to add some diversity and create a living target— just kidding! Pagans do have a sense of humor. :)
A ‘house cleansing ritual’ is routinely done when moving into a new living space. It clears a variety of energies from this space, both negative and otherwise, and sets a pleasant tone for the new occupants. It’s really no different than a Catholic priest blessing a new home for someone, or a minister from any other denomination doing the same thing.
These girl chase away evil spirits. Yea right!
Actually, you do have the ability to cleanse a space of evil spirits. The Catholic Church and the Christian community more commonly refer to this practice as an exorcism.
These women are so far removed from Jesus. They worship Marx and themselves.
