I’ve heard on the news today that Timothy Geithner failed to pay his taxes because............he did his taxes on TurboTax and it did not prompt him to pay his “other” taxes he owed.

(1) TurboTax was contacted by FoxNews and basically said “B.S.” You ARE prompted about other taxes that you may owe.

(2) Why would this “great financial wizard” need to use TurboTax in the first place? If thatis the requirement to be Secretart of the Treasury, then I am just as qualified, since I’ve been using TurboTax for the last couple of years.

(3) Let’s not forget the immigration status of his domestic staffer.

(4) As head of the New York Treasury, he watched the Wall Street melddown happen,Citibank, etc., and did NOTHING.

Yet because he’s Obama’s choice, we are not allowed to speak of such matters.

I have a headache...........

“the rulers” operate on one playing field, and the rest of us - - “the ruled” - - operate on a separate, more lowly, more enslaved playing field.

An excellent article. But I would submit there is a third playing field. The one occupied by the deadbeat taxeaters. They contribute nothing but the ever present threat to riot if the goodies given by "the ruled" ever dry up. They are the muscle for the elites.

I think we fall like the old Roman Republic fell. Bread and circuses to keep people happy. Two political parties fighting over what style of control will dominate. And a great mass of people to exploit as street-level muscle -- people who will never really benefit, but who can be exploited without knowing that they are pawns.

I've come to believe that our system is pretty much a big political machine, active world-wide. It works precisely as intended and benefits exactly whom it is intended to benefit. I think this has been true for a long, long time. And I also think that the machine may -- just possibly -- be breaking down.

That was last August. Today, Barack Obama is our President. He has pledged to be the President that helps “everyday Americans.” And he has pledged that his administration will be the most “open” and “transparent” in the history of the U.S. Presidency.

The Seeker: What if We Just Unleashed A Great Evil On the World?

I thought this was a great way to end the week. The Seeker fought to keep the male confessor alive.

As they pushed off the beach in a row boat to the secret island Kayla says:

“What if we just unleashed a great evil on the world?”

Kind of reminds me of the events in Washington this last week.

I’m afraid the American people cannot recognize Democrat elitism. They think elitism, if they could understand the word, is restricted to “uncaring” Republicans.

Elites are always looking for ways to dominate...that is as old as the Human Race....and Religion ...has often been used as part of the mechanism...

I am about half way thru the book:

Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies (Hardcover)

It is a very interesting book...by Jared Diamond (Author) "A suitable starting point from which to compare historical developments on the different continents from around 11,000 B.C...

These elitists may want to remember this:

Obama won by a very slim % point. Many of those people are having buyers remorse now. If he ran again today, after showing his true colors, he would not win the election again. He needs to be reminded who’s boss.

There is almost a desperation among the elites to hold old patterns together. Who really thinks Citi, Morgan and BofA can hold together regardless of the tax money being pumped in? What is it that GM is bringing to the table that we just can't do without? And yet... you just know the fix is in.
