I’ve heard on the news today that Timothy Geithner failed to pay his taxes because............he did his taxes on TurboTax and it did not prompt him to pay his “other” taxes he owed.
(1) TurboTax was contacted by FoxNews and basically said “B.S.” You ARE prompted about other taxes that you may owe.
(2) Why would this “great financial wizard” need to use TurboTax in the first place? If thatis the requirement to be Secretart of the Treasury, then I am just as qualified, since I’ve been using TurboTax for the last couple of years.
(3) Let’s not forget the immigration status of his domestic staffer.
(4) As head of the New York Treasury, he watched the Wall Street melddown happen,Citibank, etc., and did NOTHING.
Yet because he’s Obama’s choice, we are not allowed to speak of such matters.
I have a headache...........
An excellent article. But I would submit there is a third playing field. The one occupied by the deadbeat taxeaters. They contribute nothing but the ever present threat to riot if the goodies given by "the ruled" ever dry up. They are the muscle for the elites.

I've come to believe that our system is pretty much a big political machine, active world-wide. It works precisely as intended and benefits exactly whom it is intended to benefit. I think this has been true for a long, long time. And I also think that the machine may -- just possibly -- be breaking down.

Kind of reminds me of the events in Washington this last week.
I’m afraid the American people cannot recognize Democrat elitism. They think elitism, if they could understand the word, is restricted to “uncaring” Republicans.

I am about half way thru the book:

Obama won by a very slim % point. Many of those people are having buyers remorse now. If he ran again today, after showing his true colors, he would not win the election again. He needs to be reminded who’s boss.

There is almost a desperation among the elites to hold old patterns together. Who really thinks Citi, Morgan and BofA can hold together regardless of the tax money being pumped in? What is it that GM is bringing to the table that we just can't do without? And yet... you just know the fix is in.
