I would also suggest that you voice your approval and appreciation of those who voted "nay" as well.
(For example, shockingly, you'll note that McLame voted "nay" -- amazingly enough)
Byrd voted nay also, so McCain, meh :)
Dependable Lindsey Graham. Another knife in our back.
Grrrrrr!!!!
And yet, Byrd voted Nay.
The RNC should not give funds to any R that voted yea.
A sad day in our nations history when we vote in a known crook.
Well we will get our just deserts.
Corker (R-TN)——Cornyn (R-TX)——Crapo (R-ID)——Ensign (R-NV)——Graham (R-SC)——Gregg (R-NH)——Hatch (R-UT)——Shelby (R-AL)——Snowe (R-ME)——Voinovich (R-OH)-———— I am surprised at a few of these, especially in light of Byrd and Socialist Sanders voting nay.
I have already sent Shelby a nasty gram.
Wouldn't want to disappoint his Globalist brethren.
I called and called my Senators(Worthless-DE and Useless-DE) but they were good party boys and voted for the crook.
they’ll hear from me this morning.
The next debacle is this $ 825 billion monument to keeping the Dems in power with our grandchildren’s money.
The GOP needs to tell Obama today—we’re voting for the tax cuts but no new spending.
And if Obama balks, EVERY REPUBLICAN in the House and Senate needs to vote no on the bailout bill.
Then we can set the stage for the 2010 elections.
But anyone think that the GOP has the guts to do that?
BOHICA. Maybe the new bailout has some money for Vaseline this time.
You live in IL like I do?
Every now and then Sheets has a dose of sanity.
(excerpt from Michelle Malkin)
And here are the 10 B.O. (Barack Obama/Bend Over) Republicans who sided with Obama and the Dems:
Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Crapo (R-ID)
Ensign (R-NV)
Graham (R-SC)
Gregg (R-NH)
Hatch (R-UT)
Shelby (R-AL)
Snowe (R-ME)
Voinovich (R-OH)
Cornyn is one of my Rino-responsibilities..... I will work extremely hard for his defeat.
....Hey Corny, Where’s the fence boy?”
Voinobitch (R-OH), Yea
sigb,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Probably had tears of joy in his eyes,,,,,,
I think the thing is here with regards to Harkin and Byrd voting with the republicans who stood against voting for confirmation....they are in no danger of losing their seats next election...they voted against confirmation just to make it look bi-partisan....IMHO
I was glad to see Kay Bailey vote NO to confirm. I guess she's already running for Governor.
I hear ya!
I’m in southern Delaware, which is a “Red” area, thank God!
I have two Dems—Kauffman, who replaced the moron Biden(who is practically worshipped in the northern part of the state—he knows enough not to come visit us) and Carper, who i refer to as Seantor Me-Too, as he always voted the way Biden voted. Carper is a former governor of Delaware, while Kauffman was an executive assistant to Joe Biden for like 25 years, so Joe stiffed the entire Dem party in DE by selecting him as his Senate replacement instead of more faithful Dem party hacks, and the idiot grandma Governor Minner went along with it. Minner has now been succeeded with Jack Markell, who, for a Dem is actually pretty good—wish he were a Republican.
Like the country, the GOP got trounced in November here in Delaware. Biden won with 65% of the vote against a woman that the GOP didn’t even fund. That she got 35% was terrific, considering how Biden is revered in this state(don’t ask me why—I’m a transplant and I can’t figure it out).
I know in Illinois you have it as bad, with the traitor Durbin and the newly minted Burris.
But we’ll fight the good fight, won’t we?!
BTW—I love your tagline and share the sentiment totally.
Sadly, I believe that to be the reason she voted nay.
I have suffered her inability to represent for decades.... Don't ask her for the time....she will tell you how one builds a watch....but will never really give you the time.
“Dependable Lindsey Graham. Another knife in our back”
This is a simple code for young men/women preparing to meet the challenges of the future “A CADET DOES NOT LIE, CHEAT, OR STEAL, NOR TOLERATE THOSE WHO DO”, many of them choose the military. This is one that did and made the ultimate sacrifice http://www.thestate.com/breaking/story/607462.html?RSS=breaking
I wonder what Sen. Graham’s code is, where is HIS honor.
I got a response from Martinez R Fl and he said he intended to vote for both the Treasury select and Holder. I responded if he did not see ethical, moral and legal problems with one or both of them, he was definitely a ball lost in the high weeds. This jerk was RNC chair for awhile no less. I said I support his decision not to run next year and asked if there was any possibility he could leave now.
No response to that.
