Wolfstar and I had some arguments on that thread yesterday. But one thing he and I agreed on:
He made repeated calls - pinged the moderators - to edit the story. They can easily do that. But they would not. They would not even comment as to why not.
Mods can do as the please ya know.
But if FReepers got PO’d at Rep. Price - then Polito is first to blame. Then the mods.

I’m as angry and frustrated as anyone, but we’ve got to hold fire on some things.
When I called Price’s office last night, I was calm but angry. The poor girl answering the phone sounded exasperated. Now I know why.
I don’t remember who it was, but someone posted a picture of Price and made a comment that he “looked gay.”
We can’t become Daily Kos.

My 2 cents is not to trust the media in the first place and to do some research before jumping ugly.

BTW. The correction was not added today. It was added yesterday. Within a hour or so of the first posting of the article.
