A mother has pleaded guilty to murdering her only child after being told by her boyfriend: 'It's her or me'.
Penny Boudreau strangled her 12-year-old daughter Karissa in a twisted bid to stop her boyfriend from ending their affair.
The heartless mother ignored her terrified daughter's cries of 'Mummy, don't!' as she pinned her to the ground and wrapped a rope around her neck, prosecutor Paul Scovi told a Canadian court.

No REAL woman would. Period. Just like no REAL man would hurt a woman or a child. Scum like these are not human therefore no human could possibly explain what goes on in their minds.

This may be true, but I think the odds are much greater that she gets strangled in prison, rather than of her strangling someone else. Prisoners convicted with crimes against children are the lowest of the low within the prison hierarchy, and this crime stands out even in that sorry category as being particularly heinous. If they don’t separate her from the other prisoners, I doubt she’ll survive long enough to finish her sentence.

What is wrong with us is that you would ask, "What is wrong with us?".
WE didn't kill that woman's child. SHE did.
WE live our lives by the golden rule and would do unto others as we would have done unto us. We would never kill an innocent child of 12 for any reason less than protecting the lives of others.
But it is absolutely essential that we cease treating such evil people as this mother as being one of US. She is of those who embrace evil in the pursuit of their own immediate gratification.
She is one of THEM.

If you haven't noticed; this is NOT an isolated incedent in the society that we (all uf us) live in today. Yes, most of "us" do not condone or participate in this activity but we are all touched by the effects. I am not making a confession or an acusation. Doesn't a person diseased have mostly healthy components? We are a society diseased. I was mearly asking the question; "How have we, as a society, come to this?

This is why single motherhood takes such a horrible toll on children. In many cases, the boyfriend is only going to see the children as a liability and for some strange reason, too many women take the side of the boyfriend over their child. The murders are just the worst that happens but they also let the boyfriends sexually abuse their children or neglect them. I think people need to give up the assumption that children are always better off with the mother because once a boyfriend enters the picture, that’s often not the case.
(Yes, I know there are some good mothers out there and some great stepdads, but there are plenty of bad ones out there, too. We shouldn’t assume the best.)

In this new Obama world, shouldn’t this be called a late term abortion? This decision was obviously hard for the mother and should she really be prosecuted for excercising her rights?
