Animal-human clones don't work, U.S. company finds

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Researchers who tried to use mouse, cow and rabbit eggs to make human clones said on Monday the effort failed to produce workable embryos but added that they showed human cloning should work in principle.

Mixing human and animal cells does not appear to program the egg properly, said Dr. Robert Lanza of Massachusetts-based Advanced Cell Technology.

They should be taken out into the street and shot like dogs. You can’t combine humans and animals unless you are a murderer.

These scientists need to try a little harder. The feasibility of interspecies breeding has already been demonstrated in nature. It is obvious, for instance, that Mike Huckabee is the product of a union between Droopy the dog and a human female.

Might want to throw an evolution keyword in there, and see if the usual DC suspects plague the thread to defend this (human animal hybrids) practice. After all, it's science.
