Obamas read to DC school children in surprise stop

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama have made a surprise stop at a public school to read to children.
The Obamas were at the Capital City Public Charter School in northwest Washington Tuesday. The president told a group of gleeful second-graders: “We were just tired of being in the White House.”

I'm speechless. Does this man have any idea how undignified and ridiculous he looks to the world? Even in jest, it was extremely foolish. Besides, he has nothing better to do than read to school children? That is what First Ladies are for. He says he is worrying about the economy. Maybe working on his real job might help instead of making a photo op. And why aren't his own children in that public school instead of Sidwell Friends?

Too bad Obama and the Dems (along with the teachers) won’t give the children the capability to reciprocate.

When he gets bored with one thing, or can’t take the heat, he’s off to the next.
30 years from now....wonder how many of these kids will LOOOOOVVVEEE paying their taxes....probably at about the 70% rate....

I don’t watch television, but stopped in front of the TV to help my wife get her computer working, and while I was doing it, that POS Brian Williams is doing a piece on the First Couple visiting with the kids.
I wanted to puke. It just pissed me off to no end. That is why I don’t watch television. The newspeople were falling all over themselves.
