Conservatives have an opportunity to reverse the election gains of the Socialists who appeared to have risen to unstoppable power in America in the last election.
Barack Obama and his Democrat majority have launched a blitzkreig against the last remaining defenses of the free market, liberty and traditional conservative American values.
Using the unstoppable juggernaut of a nearly-trillion dollar "economic stimulus package", Obama and his Democrats plan to quickly grind liberty, conservatism and individual freedom into the bloody muck of the American political battlefield.
Soon, they will stand victorious over the rubble of the former American dream, clapping economic chains on the remaining free-market holdouts while passing out the contents of the looted Treasury to the non-working Obama voters that made it all possible.
However, there is a chink in the armor of the vaunted Socialist Death Star.
Obama forgot to guard his supply lines.
The supply line of any Socialist government behemoth is the ability to extract unlimited tax dollars from the silently groaning tax slaves and tax serfs at gunpoint.
Socialist politicians and their media allies pretend that "everyone is pitching in" and "it's high taxation, but it's fair".
As we've seen over the last couple of weeks, the ruling Democrat politicians will vote in higher taxes without blinking an eye - BUT THE SAME DEMOCRATS SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PAYING THE TAXES THEY'RE VOTING IN!.
The leader of the tax-it-if-it-moves Democrats, Barack Obama, has a cognitive dissonance problem when it comes to tax evasion by his Democrat Politburo members. Timothy Geithner and former Senator Tom Daschle are Good Party Members, President Obama says to himself, so why shouldn't they work for my new administration? No one I know in my political circle or in the media will have a problem with some "minor" tax issues, especially since both men are knowledgeable and competent in their areas of expertise, Obama thinks to himself.
Unfortunately for Obama, the tax slaves and the tax serfs are silently watching this unbelievable spectacle. As the tax lash comes down on their whip-scarred shoulders once again, the mute masses at their galley oars watch the Lordly Tax Scofflaws swill down victory champagne and $100 steaks as they prepare to flog the serfs for another trillion or so of "pocket change" for another round of Democrat partying.
The conservatives need to launch an assault on Obama's tax collection supply depot. Until Timothy Geithner, Tom Daschle, Charlie Rangel, Al Franken and innumerable other Democrat Tax Cheats are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the onerous and Byzantine tax laws (as one of the "ordinary folks", one of the tax serfs, would be prosecuted), conservatives should point out that the Democrats will tax, but not pay.
The chances that Obama will prosecute Geithner and Daschle are slim to none.
If Obama's media allies drag out some Republican politician Tax Cheats to offer up to the bloodthirsty crowd, we conservatives need to paint ALL politicians as tax-raping Tax Cheats. That will defuse that gambit, and further threaten the Democrats' tax money supply depot.
The Democrats will have to scramble back to their original trenches to protect their current tax collection revenues, and will have no time to seize further tax dollars.
The rage of the tax serfs is simmering just below the surface. We can use it to thwart the Obama taxing machine.
Partying hearty on YOUR tax dollars - but not theirs, since they don't pay taxes. ;-)
