In November, along the border with Texas, Mexican authorities arrested drug cartel leader Jaime "el Hummer" Gonzalez Duran one of the founders of "Los Zetas," a paramilitary organization of former Mexican soldiers who decided there was more money to be made in selling drugs than in serving in the Mexican military.
As El Hummer was being transported to the airport in an armed vehicle, his fellow cartel members launched a brazen attack against the federales.
They were armed to the teeth. Their arsenal ranged from semi-automatic rifles to rocket-propelled grenades. When the smoke finally cleared and the government had prevailed, Mexican federal agents captured 540 assault rifles, more than 500,000 rounds of ammunition, 150 grenades, 14 cartridges of dynamite, 98 fragmentation grenades, 67 bulletproof vests, seven Barrett .50-caliber sniper rifles and a Light Anti Tank (LAW) rocket.

If they were really armed to the teeth wouldn't they have fully automatic assault rifles along with sharp knives held in their teeth? Also they'd have twin 50's in the bed of their pickups/Hummers.
Looks like the “terrorists” have come home to roost.
And they’d have some A-10s flying cover.
How can this be? Privately owned guns and ammo are outlawed in Mexico.
Would that be the government of Mexico or the terrorist organization called the Mexican government that continues to send it's illegal alien "soldiers", i.e gang members, across the territorial boundry of MY country?
Seems to me that it's a six of one half dozen of another proposition.
“jaws” from the old double-oh-seven flics.
So if you were the dude that was riding in the back next to the drug lord, and you were attacked in this way, wouldn’t you just put a gun to his head and blow his brains out??? Seems logical to me.

Works for me. Better than letting him be captured, unless they thought that they could really get some good info out of him. But I doubt they would.
They should also include a samurai sword in a scabbard hung from the belt, and a patch over one eye.
The problem is Mexico has a huge MACHO problem. We don’t have that problem here!....News report, 1968.
Well, now it is here.
Of course, if Obamma-massa’ had been in charge, gun-control would have been in effect and they would have had squat.
There is no denying that a lot of firearms have been illegally smuggled into Mexico. More than ever, Americans need to be armed to protect themselves from danger spilling over the border, because our ineffectual government darn sure isn’t going to do much. If ever we needed justification to seal the border, this danger is it. Instead, Chairman Obamao and his comrades may use the illegal gun trade as an excuse to infringe further on Americans’ Constitutional gun rights. I see things getting real ugly.

War with Mexico, to “help” them, would give Zobama a fix for the economy.
I expect media coverage of Mexico’s problems to escalate.
Mexico may be able to get info out of the putz. After all, Mexico isn't run by a wussybama who gets light-headed and squeamish at the mere thought of water-boarding torture.
Too many fifth column Mexican gangs in America. Couldn’t wage a war in Mexico without the fifth column assaulting our infrastructure. Thanks to open door illegal immigration, we have more than one fifth column living openly in America ... and I’m not talkin’ just mediawhoredom.
The war would be to help Mexico, immigrant support would have to be gained first- with stories of how bad it is there.
The criminal would just be integrated into the government, like in Iraq or Chicago.
I wouldn’t be surprised if these mexican gangs aren’t the ones smuggling the weapons into mexico
