I can’t speak for everyone, but because of where I’m employed and what I do, I am not going to put myself in a position where I might have an arrest record. It is harmful to my continued employment so it’s just not going to happen. I’ve offered my support in other ways.

Don't be too concerned, with this attitude you obviously never had rights to begin with.

All I suggested was to follow the gun laws of which ever state you’re protesting in.

I submit the latitude between "follow the gun laws of which ever state you’re protesting in" and getting your ass kicked, arrested, and losing the right to bear arms, is so wide that references to the latter give no appreciable indication you meant the former.

Suggestions?

Ignore any and all things "said" and judge all public policy matters by what gets "done." If what gets done does not square with your agenda, agitate, lie, slander, and bitterly punish those responsible for said outcome...starting with the weakest and working your way up to the strongest.

And before anyone begins prattling about "stooping to their level" remember "their level" is *winning*, and we can resume civil discourse as soon as the other side determines they can not tolerate the same treatment they inflict on us.

Uhh, we’re there, Dude.

Not quite yet. The left still has to couch its use of the coercive powers of the state to settle political vendettas in terms that make that use "plausibly" neutral. Everyone knows what Scooter Libby was prosecuted for, and it wasn't for breaking the law though an illegality may be asserted.

That being said, if current trends continue there will be no need to maintain the pretense of "the rule of law" because "law" will finally be defined as whatever a judge says it is.

That is certainly understandable. Active participation is not necessarily required.

What IS required is that one never, ever, give aid and comfort to the left, and insofar as one is able, injure them for their activism.

“...we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

Some lost their lives. Most lost their fortunes. Their honor has been entruwted to us. Do what you must.

Why not have big protests in both places. Washington, and along the border. We certainly have enough support to have two demonstrations at once

Ask the Bonus Marchers. They suffered tear gas and a cavalry assault, horse cavalry. The troops were lead by General MacArthur, his aid Dwight Eisenhower and Major George Patton. The Bonus Marchers were not armed, and there were 20,000 or so of them. Now there is that directed energy weapon (millimeter wave) that makes you feel like you are on fire. It was designed just for such situations, albeit in Southwest Asia, not the Capital of the United States. But it would be used there, if the marchers are lucky, if not they'll use more lethal equipment.

That was before live TV, cell phone video, you tube, live blogging etc etc etc. No way to keep a violent crackdown covered up and THAT would spark a Revolution ( I doubt the average soldier or marine would open fire on such a crowd today if ordered to anyway).....

Do what you must.

That I will. But if we scatter our efforts, we'll just be wasting it.
