Melanie Morgan will be joining Free Republic founder Jim Robinson at the Senate Monday to help lead the Porkulus freep!
Freepers are traveling from all across the country. You still have time to join Jim in D.C. He'll be at the Senate all day Monday and Tuesday. If you can't make it Monday then show up Tuesday morning.

You guys and gals are awesome! For those who cannot attend - we need to melt thier phones on Monday and Tuesday. Call their DC offices and their in-state offices. The DC offices may be busy but call both.
I wish I could go!!! Hubs and I FReeped in NYC during the Gore recount and had a ball. Anyone who can go, should! We’ll be there in spirit and fax away from Tennessee.

EVERY time they mention the Porkulus Bill,,,
to call it JUST THAT!!
Everyone knows how important names and titles of bills are--in shaping public opinions and perceptions--
therefore, it should be referred to ONLY as the Porkulus Bill, and nothing else!!
Calling the "Death Tax" exactly that--helped to get support for stopping it. Let the general public hear the term PORKULUS BILL over and over and over,,,and then...over again!!
Of course, we all that the GOP is not serious about stopping it,,,so they won't.

Somebody give me a time to call (and a good number if possible) and I will call in from overseas at that exact time if possible, and let them HAVE IT over the phone line, from one of hundreds of thousands of angry Americans, civilian and military, overseas.
For those who don't know, she's been a great friend of Free Republic for many years.
