Beck was animated tonight. He predicts some sort of blow-up/revolution by next year. Rationed healthcare for those over 50. Obama's Brownshirts. Three trillion dollars down the toilet in ObamaAid. The Left confiscating private firearms. Illegal aliens getting "stimulus" money and amnesty. The Obama war on religion. The second and third ranking Justice Department nominees child pornographers and anti-military hatemongers. Interesting.

Glenn knows throwing out these kinds of scenarios sells TV and radio time. People thrive on fear and this is one of Glenn’s tactics. “Hope” this is the case...
I felt the same way and dropped him a while back. However, I started listening last week and I have to say he’s been on point and on fire recently.
Something that really bothers me is the knowledge that thousands of lawyers out there are filing lawsuits and winning on behalf of the ACLU, environmental groups and other leftist issues. These lawsuits distort the meaning of the constitution and we taxpayers end up paying the legal fees.
Where are the attorneys who will file lawsuits concerning real constitutional issues like the usurpation of the tenth amendment or hundreds of other issues like congress mandating what kind of toilets and light bulbs we use?
To be fair to Beck for that, it is in the interest of this country that Obama do a “good” job (translated - be a moderate democrat - which he isn’t). Having the hope that Obama turns out to be more moderate and mainstream for all Americans isn’t a bad thing. Placing bets on him being that would not be prudent.

The Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves. We are slowly but inexorably becoming slaves to the government. Hussein Obama and his gang of Chicago thugs will complete the process by 2012. The Constitution is just a piece of paper now; they have effectively shredded it.
Rebellion, secession, and an overthrow of our socialist masters is exactly what is needed. I dont want to live my life as a slave to a bunch of socialists in DC. I dont want to live in a country where some poor black woman cries to Hussein Obama at a press conference and she gets a house. Who is he? Eva Peron? Thats not my America. Republican and Democrats alike need to go.

Demographics are not on our side. Texas is what? 30-35% Hispanic? Any Conservative gains made due to a secession won't matter once that population goes over 50% in the next 10-20 years.

Virginia and North Carolina going blue this past election are just the beginning, one by one, Texas, Arizona, Florida and every other southern Red State will soon turn reliability blue.
Just look at cities like Detroit, Baltimore, etc and how bad things are there and yet they continue to vote 95%+ the same rats in every time.
What's happening in those cities is what will happen in the entire south. It won't matter how bad Obamalamadingdong and the Rats in congress screw up, they will still vote for them 95%+
Any breakup of America, the Freestates will be in the Heartland and Mountain west.
If it was me, and I wanted to bring in troops ot do this, I wouldn’t use my own. My own would be scattered around the rest of the world.
Nope, I’d use UN troops from other countries. They will have much less connect to this country, its citizens, its laws, traditions and customs. Much easier for them to follow orders on foreigners.

I caught a bit yesterday because I was traveling (he’s not on locally any more). He seemed to be on point. He does go through phases (I remember him being more or less convinced Iran was going to nuke somebody in August of 2006). When he’s lucid, which doesn’t seem to be very often, he’s good.
I do miss the old Beck, with considerably more funny bits and not so much doom and gloom.
There are still a lot of good places in Texas. We might lose everything south of San Antonio though.

I'm not so sure about that.
It's my opinion that many in the military might come over to out side.
In addition, this wouldn't be a set piece confrontation.
Hit and run, snipers everywhere, merge back into the population, etc.
I'm not so sure the military would win a struggle against the American people.
