When the Republican party calls you on the phone asking for a donation don’t give them a red cent. Instead remind them of what has happened and tell them that your donations will be going to individual conservatives.

This is what happens when one votes for a “moderate”.

I suggest buying a small plastic rhino, such as I found here:

Plastic Animals ~

Send one to each of those turncoats. Or maybe buy in bulk, nothing says "you done stepped in it this time" like a gross of rhinos in a pretty box.

Let the stampede begin!

No, the Republican Party didn’t change. Some folks tried to make it Democrat-Lite. That’s why the Party can’t win elections.

Isn’t she related to Michael Dukaka?

It’s clearly in her DNA to be a numb skull.

Snowe is a liberal from a liberal state in a liberal part of our country.

And, the question that keeps popping up in my mind is if the Northeast USA, Maine included, with all it's wonderful Liberalism which includes the exorbitant tax rates, failing governments and working environments ruined by union thuggery, is so danged great how come so many of the residents from there are fleeing in droves to conservative states like Tennessee? I truly fear what large numbers of Libs moving into my beloved Tennessee will do to our quality of life in the years to come....

Sounds as though she’s getting ready to jump ship.

Well off with her then. All she'd be doing is formalising something she's already been doing for her entire tenure in the Senate. At least by switching Parties she'd finally be honest about it.

At least you wouldn’t have a spy in the party reporting all the caucus business back to the Democrats.

The repubic party has changed... it has become just like snowe.

Baloney. Out of 216 other GOP House/Senate members, ZERO followed the three RINOs in defecting on Purkulus; not even Graham or McCain!

“Sounds as though she’s getting ready to jump ship.”

For all intents and purposes, she did that a long time ago. She’s just been siphoning off our GOP dollars, that’s all.

Some folks tried to make it Democrat-Lite. That’s why the Party can’t win elections.

Tell that to Rick Santorum.

She has to go — does anyone ever challenge her for office? This would be a great opportunity.

We will see what happens when she is up in 2012. It seems to me that folks have a short memory...yes even all of us FREEPERS. I thought for sure Lindsey would be challenged this year from all the crap he has done in his past, but alas we are stuck with him now until 2014 after easily being reelected this year. Another up in 2010 is that Vitter from Louisiana who embarassed the Republican Party two years ago with calls to hookers but it seems like he will win again because people are changing their minds about him again. It is a wonder why these folks stay for life times. Why not...screw up when you are reelected for a few years but the last two ensure you do the right thing and people will quickly reelect you. It is a non stop cycle.

If she thinks “her” party left her, perhaps her party should leave her.

Absolutely! She is, at the very least, going to vote as a democrat and most probably will make a huge, dramatic public announcement when she makes the official switch.

We have NOTHING TO LOSE by dumping the botch first and everything to gain:

1) It takes all the triumph out of her switcheroo and makes her the loser being dumped and

2) It sends a message to any other traitor that we are serious about being republicans.

Short term very small loss--if it's even a loss at all, long term win.

A note to Michael Steele, Chairman of the GOP.......this is one pubbie who won’t contribute one dime, while traitors Specter, Collins and Snowe continue to draw money from the GOP. Drum these traitors out of the GOP.
