"Another local resident asked Shelby if there was any truth to a rumor that appeared during the presidential campaign concerning Obama’s U.S. citizenship, or lack thereof.
“Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate,” Shelby said. “You have to be born in America to be president.”

I wonder if the Democrats will respond with a personal attack on Senator Shelby, or will put this whole thing to rest by producing incontrovertible documentation that Obama meets the Natural Born Citizen requirement of the Constitution?
Obama’s media backing is massive. It’s not a mystery why few people know this. Has anyone seen this on any main stream media outlet- ever? Even Foxnews has nothing to say.
He can be removed from office if he was not born here.

However, the way to KEEP this alive?
Get State Election officials to require a certified copy of the long form birth certificate, or the “vault copy” prior to any name being placed on the Presidential ballot.
Get legislatures to pass laws stating that no electoral college votes, from that state, will be given to any candidate who has not proven “natural born citizen” status.
Even if we do not force Obama out of office early (and we probably won’t) we will weaken Obama and distract him.
Also, when he runs for reelection, we might deny him a place on the ballot, in a few states.
Maybe it’s finally dawning on them that there are huge loopholes within the system; both state and federal.
Well, Shelby should then have raised an objection in the Senate on January 8th. He’s just pandering to conspiracy theorists here.

The interesting thing about that newspaper article is:
His parents never lived at the address given in the article.....checked Hawaii records.....and it is true.....
Some are afraid he’ll send his brown shirts around for a visit like all good dik-tators do. The rest are just on the bandwagon.
Also, Obama has NOT produced a Certified Copy of his original Vault Copy Birth Cetificate, at any time.
A Certificate of Live Birth is NOT the same as an original Vault Copy Birth Certificate.
A Certificate of Live Birth can be issued for those born at sea, on airplanes, or in a foreign country.
By the way, I am willing to believe that Obama might have been born in Hawaii. However, Obama is hiding something.
Obama’s own legal briefs openly state that production of the “Vault Copy” birth certificate, as well as other discovery items requested, would be an “embarrassment” to Obama.
I am thinking that paternity might be the problem, not geography.
In any event, Obama is a fraud who rose to power on publicity of Oprah and his phoney books.
We must poke as many holes in the “Obama story” as we can.
Shelby wimped out and played the status quo on this. He went on to say that the Hawaii state government verified the birth certificate stated Hawaii was the place of birth. Yet they only said it was a certificate of birth back to step one. So Shelby just deflected the question and is not challenging it or so it sounds to me.
