He was wonderful on Meet the Press.
I don’t understand the attacks on him now.
He was in a no-win situation talking after a president’s speech.
Laura Ingraham has been bashing him throughout her program today. She always seems so cruel and childish in her criticism.
I heard a clip of Chris Matthews laughing and saying the Republicans “outsourced the rebuttal speech”
Why aren’t we calling him out on this implied racism?

This is what we always do...we eat our own.
No wonder this man isn’t interested in running for the WH.

WE are. But you won't hear us on the MSM. Hope Rush will get it out.

Why not just run Arnold. He’s super charismatic. Who needs solutions when a good speech fixes everything.

"Clearly, someone in the GOP establishment didn’t bother to 'screen' Jindal’s speech skills before tonight’s performance."

Exactly.

Is it a coincidence that the GOP also failed to properly prepare their other "rising star" during the Presidential campaign, Sarah Palin, as well?? OR cover her afterwards?

If you ask me, the GOP "leadership" has to be gutted from top-to-bottom or else it's finished. It's a sham that's been co-opted by a Globalist cabal.

What a missed opportunity for capitalism and freedom. Bobby Jindal will never be president. Ain’t gonna happen. Nope.

He literally made me scream at the radio the 6th time he said "Americans can do anything" in his Mr Rogers voice.

What makes a good speaker is what Rush and Reagan can do.

Say the things we are already thinking in our heads.

That's what makes you pump your fist in the air and say, "Right on!"

Jindal, one of our best and brightest, is toast. Depressing.

I agree! I didn’t watch last night but watched on the Hot Air site. Aside from the one hand he kept up, he looked at ease, didn’t have many verbal stumbles, was sincere & straight forward. What is everyone fussing about?!

Yeah,

Jindal’s performance is going to put a damper on those who were already touting the 30-something Governor as our next President.

Jindal needs to be seasoned for a few more elections. This was pretty awful.

Is it too much to ask for a candidate who's somewhere between a RINO Comic Book Super Hero and Mr. Rogers?

She even asked her principal for the money to buy a stamp.

Just shows what a cheapskate liberal she is. She expects the government to provide for every single thing she needs, even the postage stamp to write a letter to the government.

Expect more of this the next 3 years as palin folks attack jindal and vice versa. We need to support all conservatives instead of catty internet comments around here.

I watched the last probably 5 minutes of it. I didn’t think it was terrible.

What makes me absolutely crazy is how the media and even folks like Krauthammer talk about how eloquent Obama is. It’s the same thing they always said of Clinton. I just don’t get it. It’s all BS and anyone with a brain can see that it is.

You have to look at substance over delivery. Sure, in comparison to W they are eloquent but at least W had some real meat in his not-so-charismatic way of speaking.

Obama and Clinton are 2 of the biggest bullsh!t artists out there and many of us can’t be fooled into thinking that the delivery makes what they say great.

Give Obama a teleprompter and ok fine, he does alright. Take it away and he can barely put a coherent, cohesive sentence together.

What that amount to...he reads/memorizes well. Big whoop

You know, the last time we had an Austrian-born politician as head of another country, it didn't work out so well.

“Watching the speech, I wondered how many times Governor Jindal has used a teleprompter before. How ironic; our guy comes across poorly when reading a speech off the ‘prompter, while the POTUS can’t get by without one.”

Yeah, Jindhal was on point and on message during the hurricane last year, without teleprompter. Probably was too nervous and it just ruined his delivery. I’m in a “whatever” state about it. It doesnt really matter. RESULTS MATTER. Substance matters. How we stand up in Congress and in the states matter.

Obama’s results are a disaster for the country. I am sick of heaing he gives a good speech. So did Hitler. Good speeches that hurtle us to hell in a handbasket are not what we want.

To solve our current problems, Washington must lead. But the way to lead is not to raise taxes and put more money and power in hands of Washington politicians. The way to lead is by empowering you — the American people. Because we believe that Americans can do anything. That is why Republicans put forward plans to create jobs by lowering income tax rates for working families, cutting taxes for small businesses, strengthening incentives for businesses to invest in new equipment and hire new workers, and stabilizing home values by creating a new tax credit for home-buyers. These plans would cost less and create more jobs. But Democratic leaders in Congress rejected this approach. Instead of trusting us to make wise decisions with our own money, they passed the largest government spending bill in history — with a price tag of more than $1 trillion with interest.

This is a great point, and I dont care who says it or how it was said - it just NEEDS TO BE SAID.

I love this man—he is the “real deal” as Rush says.

Those effete elitists in the media who uttered “Oh God” and snickered like jealous ghoulish adolescent females watching the nerd who graduates first in her class - need to wash out their filthy vacuous brains and mouths.

“I think the reason so many people here gave Jindal low marks is because they listened to 0bama’s speech right before. That left them thirsting for blood, and Jindal served cookies and milk. He offered no catharsis. But again, he wasn’t pitching this to us on the raging right.”

It would probably be a mistake if he did. Foaming at the mouth after a President gives his first major address is a perfect way for the media to tag Republicans as “enemies of the state.”

“It doesn’t matter what we think, but the rest of the country that was watching as well. He and the GOP did themselves no favors by being so poorly prepared.”

Look, the people swayed by style over substance will not be won over if even Reagan Redux were to hit one out of the park.... they are by definition Obama voters. You cant compete on style, period.

Only the 2x4 of a bad economy making them lose their jobs and terrorists freed to come and kill US citizens again will be enough to make such shallow people come around.

Jindhal made the right points. The speech as read (I didnt watch it) is the right speech. If his delivery was off, BFD, we Republicans have time to repeat the message. It’s individual responsibility vs Washington-has-all-the-answers. People ‘get it’.
