Washington, DC: Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, founder and floor leader of the Freedom Party (PVV), and member of the Board of Advisors of the International Free Press Society (IFPS), recounted today before a packed audience in Washington's National Press Club the recent, alarming attacks on free speech worldwide - including legal actions and death threats to which he and other political leaders and journalists have lately been exposed.
Notably, Mr Wilders is being prosecuted in his own county because of reaction to his film "Fitna," and his remarks challenging the contention that Islam is a "religion of peace."

Sorry, Geert. Not any time soon.
Sorry, Geert. Not any time soon.
As much as I am against these laws, I still wouldn’t support an international law, that trumped the law of individual nations.
Every nation in the world needs “Second” and Tenth” amendments as a well.
The world needs individual nations to enact such a law on their own.
Which is more than you can say for 90% of the MSM Press.
Maybe he will have awakened a few, but hold my breath? No.

Right you are.
Still, it’s great to have high profile gutsy dudes like Geert Wilders carrying the water for free speech. I wish him all the best.
The countries of the world, most of which have come about or been altered since our founding, have had over 230 years to look at our Constitution. It appears that, anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-individual, anti-life collectives and collectivists do not like what they see. Rather than emulate it they are trying to destroy it.
Give the world a Second Amendment, and they’ll quickly dispatch all the petty tyrants, dictators, and socialist thugs whose boots they live under, and grant themselves a First Amendment (as well as the others).
Of course, the Anointed Ones know this, which is why they’ve stripped away the right of self protection in the majority of the world.
All nations needs a second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eight and ninth as well.
I love this guy. If a Kenyan Indonesian can be president, why couldn't we elected a Dutchman president?
