The same people who have been complaining about Katrina wants the same gummit to fix Healthcare.

%%%%%

But, but, but, bray, you just don’t understand!

If GWB had not been president no one would have died in Louisiana from Katrina!
If he had only landed his plane in NOLA instead of doing a fly-over, the levees would not have breached, and the people stuck in the Superdome would have had hot McDonald’s meals, and iced soft drinks, instead of room temp mre’s and bottled water.

Etc Etc

They are irrational, but they BELIEVE!

Chris Wallance on FNS, to Senator Jon Kyl: "Senator, the Republicans have an image problem with overspending ..."

Kyl had a luke-warm response to that, although Rep. Ryan had a much better comment a little later. I like this Ryan. He talked about the Pubbies being amateurs in spending, which the Dems are professionals. (we should not forget that amateurs built the Ark, and professionals built the Titanic.)

But, the Republicans need to start using the word "amuck" when talking about the Democrats and spending. The image of Chuck the Schmuck and Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi running down the street handing out blank, signed checks to total strangers should be in the background every time a Republican talks about Democrat spending.

Brit points out that you can’t have this kind of spending without a booming economy and his plans are all anti-growth.

Juan, as he displayed this morning, truly hates those who have achieved and have financial success. He is a Socialist.

I know Rove has his haters here, but he he’s fighting the good fight on this “This Week”. Unlike George Will, who acts like he’s in a college discussion group, Rove is scoring points and DEFENDING the Republicans.

Words have no meaning to Democrats.

If they did, their brains would fry when they hear what they say!

My email to Michael Steele:

Mike,

You’ve got to be kidding, right?

What Rush Limbaugh said was powerful and timely.

I am a proud conservative. I regularly read FreeRepublic.com and it would do you a lot of good to do so also. You could learn a great deal there and also come to know what real Republicans are thinking, not the nonsense that New York and Washington Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) are thinking. We lost in 2006 and 2008 precisely because of RINO thinking. I am not a loser and I am getting very tired of this RINO loser mentality that thinks appeasing the press is the way to influence. The press is bound hide and sinew to the Democratic party and should be treated as Democrats—our ideological adversaries. They’re no doubt taking great satisfaction in your remarks about Limbaugh that hurt us immensely. For shame!

You are taking the party down the WRONG path if you truly believe what Limbaugh said was incendiary and ugly.

I want you to resign and let a real conservative take over. Conservative principles and values are the winning ticket for us, not attacks on those espousing them.

Until such time, not a dime from me, and I will do my best to convince all the Alabamian Republicans I know to stop giving money to you RINOs in D.C.

Signed, A Proud Conservative Republican

This is kinda like saying "My little brother took $1 from mom's purse so it must be ok to rob the 7-11" Stealing is stealing. Sickening moral relativism.

Sad to say a lot of conservatism let the libs get away with it.

When the lib "culture of corruption" is brought up, we have to apologize for Larry Craig getting a peek through the bathroom stall.

Jjon Kyl was talking about his earmarks. And let's put this in perspective; there are 535 senators and representatives, and 9,000 earmarks. That is an everag of ahout 17 per lawmaker, and Jon Kyl only had 4 according to the FNS list. Why would Chris Wallace press an underachiever about the total number?

And when CW and others talk about Republicans having "40%" of the earmarks, does that mean number of line items, or dollars in total?

Alas, your email was SO much kinder than mine, although we both made the same points.

PS: Joe Scarborough is way squishy and doesn’t tell the facts as they are. I think MSNBC has really spoiled his brain.

I can’t remember an effective RNC Chairman since Jim Gillespie. Steele would do well to watch videos of Gillespie speaking the conservative message on the Sunday shows. He was fearless, on message, and smiled as he gave our “talking points.”

I haven’t watched in a while either, is David Gregory being more balanced than I remember him to be? I’m only paying half attention, but it seems that Gregory is not acting like an Obama butt-boy (to quote Rush when referring to Matt Lauer)?

Rove is doing well on This Week. What the two Democrats have been saying defies belief, IMHO. Those people really do live their lives in a fantasy world.
