If a rap star from a group called "Public Enemy" can't explain the body politic, who can?
Steele does make some good points about how the GOP represents values around self-reliance, though.
OMG. The Steele articles about the RNC going Obama hip hip weren’t satire!
Steele is a racist. As is ANYONE who would attend a racist conference like “State of the black union”.
What would the media say about a RNC leader that attended a “state of the WHITE union” conference?
It looks like Steele is about to crash and burn and RNC chief.
So Steele trashes Rush and then attends this thugfest. Gee, I feel so much better about his “conservative” credentials!
Actually, there was one black conservative rapper on Youtube during election season that was very impressive, I’ll have to search for te link. He spoke out against what Obama was for and did it in a way that a lot of today’s youth could relate to.
Today’s youth, (at least some of them) need to hear the conservative message in a way different than what we’re accustomed to, in terms they understand. And I think that is what Michael Steel’s plans include.
>> Gee, I feel so much better about his conservative credentials!
I can’t wait for the next RNC moneygrubbing phone call. They will get an earful from this household. But not a freaking NICKEL as long as this racist POS is at the helm.
MachoSAUCE!!!!!
I wanted Ken Blackwell. Not because of his color, but because of his conservative credentials. If Steele is going to water down conservatism to appeal to the “what can you do for me crowd” then what good is he? He didn’t say anything to defend the many slams against Republicans, Rush, and conservatism in general during that interview. Not much of a spokesman so far. The host said our convention looked like Nazi Germany and Steele agreed with it! Very poor IMO.
On second viewing he comments that Rush Limbaugh’s view is incendiary and ugly and dismisses him as an “entertainer”. He also gets a little dig at the pro-life movement by saying he was a Republican at 17 before “the pro-life issue was out there” and before a whole lot of stuff was out there that defined this party. What he is saying is that the things that define this party are wrong—that is conservative values.
P-ss off, Chuck D. “We gotta fight the power...we gotta fight the power...we gotta fight the power that be.” “M-F-him (referring to Elvis) and John Wayne.” Anyone who talks trash about the Duke is sh-t in my book.
Screw the GOP .A new party needs to be started
Has the moron ever been to a DNC convention? It’s run and attended by liberal elite whites only.
The blacks are just pawns.
Nice try, Hughley!
