At the risk of redundancy I'll ask it again: Is he? Is President Obama effin' CRAZY?
President Obama blames the continuing global financial crisis for the unmitigated carnage on Monday, when the Dow fell below 7000 and closed down 300 points (or 4.2 percent) at a 12-year low of 6763.
Bullspit! The man is in denial. By now we know the economy is ailing. The main thing that has changed: The disturbing details of Obama’s tax-and-spend plans are becoming all too clear.
Most of the moves he has made in his first 43 days in office have been bad for the markets, damaging to investors, ill-advised for the economy and detrimental to repairing the financial collapse wracking the entire planet.
Yesterday Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told a House committee the new budget’s “single most overriding priority” is to “stimulate private investment.” Yet Bam proposes to more than double the tax rate on hedge funds and private equity funds, engines of private-sector growth. Can’t be good for firms like Blackstone [BX 6.02 0.33 (+5.8%) ]

As soon as Obama gets all those subprime borrowers back into their homes who caused this mess in the first place, everything will be fine.

Well, you certainly don’t expect zer0 to shoulder any blame, do you? The Wall Street Journal has noted that 0bama is already running out of people to blame - and this is less than two months into his regime. It is now because the peasants are ignorant and cannot grasp the “big picture”.

But, but , but 0bama said the stock market is like a political poll with ups and downs and he doesn't follow its gyrations.
Bet your sweet bippy if it had been his poll numbers during the primaries he would have changed his message pretty damn quick.

“0bama said the stock market is like a political poll with ups and downs and he doesn’t follow its gyrations.”
Translation: He is counting on political payoffs for his future. He probably never had a dime in the market to even utter such a ridiculous statement.

Desperate for ratings. Demise from lost ad revenue is more immediate than any threat from the administration.
Or, maybe this is all a bid for TARP money ... pay up or we’ll continue to trash you.
