Manufacturing - the economy has lost 219,000 manufacturing jobs. Service industry - down 359,000 jobs. The goods producing and construction jobs down 338,000. It is hard to get exact numbers, but many of those people are dues-paying union members who are now without work."

Mark Levin, after seeing the Fox News story, tried a joke of sorts on his radio show tonight. He actually called the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and asked the lady who answered the phone if she’d seen any mobster-looking types around there. Then his call screener asked specifically if Sweeney (the AFL-CIO honcho) was there and someone said yes, though his exact location wasn’t known.
