Alarmists get snowed in for Washington, D.C. rally; networks mostly ignore signs of cooling temps, 'record' cold.
Temperatures have plummeted to record or near-record lows in 32 states this winter. On March 2, a global warming protest in Washington, D.C. was buried by nearly a foot of snow. And a new study warns that the Earth could be in for a 30-year cooling trend. Reality is not cooperating with the network news’ global warming theme, yet reporters are unwilling to even discuss the possibility that the Earth is cooling.
Global warming alarmists repeatedly link weather phenomena like tornadoes, hurricanes, ice melt, droughts and wildfires with global warming and the media embrace the stories. Yet, when cities or regions are buried in snow like the city of Chenzhou, China was in February 2008 there wasn’t a word about climate change in the cooling direction.
“It is being called China’s Hurricane Katrina,” NBC anchor Brian Williams said on Feb. 4, 2008. “… the month of blizzards that have brought it [China] to a virtual standstill. Millions have been stranded. Hundreds of thousands of people are homeless.” Williams didn’t chalk up the devastation to global cooling, of course. That doesn’t fit the media’s warming narrative.
James Hansen, a leading global warming alarmist, promoted a “civil disobedience” protest at a Washington, D.C. coal power plant March 2. The protestors claim that coal – and its carbon emissions are a cause of global warming. Hansen and his friends were greeted with 8 inches of snow, “strong” winds and below freezing temperatures.

It is getting comical how often all these big global warming events see record cold weather. The odds of them having such unusually cold weather for major events is astronimical. God has a sense of humor.

This is one of the best articles I’ve seen. Good material to forward to others regarding cap and trade.
Of course, there is no global warming, except in places so far away that nobody can check up on it. Where we folks actually live, the winter is still cold and the summer is still hot. Any study of the Earth’s climate history will confirm that we are currently in an interglacial period and will likely drift, over thousands of years, into yet another glacial period. Global cooling is the reasonable long term forecast. But global warming has become the most successful con of this new century, now threatening to steal millions upon millions of our tax dollars and to change all of our choices in the marketplace. For many of it’s proponents, it has become their new religion, and any who oppose or disbelieve are infidels to be silenced or destroyed. It is no surprise that politicians, who mostly believe in nothing but their own image and office, have pushed, shoved and, virtually, stepped on their grandmother’s neck to get aboard this new green gravy train. Some folks say that we need a revolution to set things right again, but I take Robert Frost’s view that what we need is half a revolution. :)
How about a one way ticket to polar bear country? Ya know, they couldn’t fly in because it would disturb the animals, snow machines would melt their paths, so I guess they could snow shoe it. Its for the polar bears!! I would be willing to contribute a survival book by Ann Coulter. I think they could keep warm reading about liberalism.

This is an indictment of secularism, too, because they refuse to give up their religious apocalyptic scenarios...they instead attempt to profit from them.
