I am no fan of PM Brown, but he deserves more respect as the head of government for one of our closest allies.
GOOD! Their treatment of Mr. Browne was truly shameful. Our President, Mr. Bush, would never have treated them that way. He and Laura were always cordial and proper.
It fully shows how much out of his element he is - this guy Obama is naive and belongs out on the street where he came from. I read that Carter was bad, but this??????
Uncle Albert.
But we haven't done
A bloody thing
All day."
In fact, Michelle and I have been sitting around, partying with our other guests, as our economy tanksand as a consequence, the rest of the world's.

two key points from the earlier discussion threads on this: 1) the DVDs were probably the wrong region code and thus unviewable on most equipment across the pond and 2) there is open speculation that these were re-gifted inaugural gifts and it would be really, really interesting to FOIA the Inaugural gift register. The cheap helicopters from the White House gift shop are beyond belief.
Delta II going up tonight, Shuttle on Wednesday! Launch 'em while you got 'em, boys!
Mr. Brown deserves much more respect than that and I lost more respect (if that is even possible) for Obama. Not that I had any to begin with.
Obami has got his knickers in a bunch over the history between Kenya and Great Britain.
The MaiMau uprising and all that.
Fellow Freepers,
I encourage you to send an email to the British Consulate as well, letting them know how embarrassed you are for the shabby treatment the Obamas gave the Prime Minister and his family. Tacky, tacky tacky. Use the email address on the main post above.

Can we reuse all of these pics back from the 2004 election?
“Politicians are the lowest form of life on earth. Liberal Democrats are the lowest form of politician.” —General George S. Patton, Jr.
Is the BBC ignoring this whole row?
All these Europeans loved Obama and wanted him to win.
Well, live with it. We’re going to ram Obama, Biden, and Clinton down your throats. You love all of them; now live with them. And don’t complain when they stiff you or insult you.
Fyi . . .
Gordon Brown is a Fabian, big-time.
A Fabian would be more than willing to endure a perceived slight in order to achieve their goals.
On it’s face, seems to be more obfuscation through manufactured political slight so as to consume as much air as possible in the weekly news cycle.
Nevertheless, the British people do not deserve such disrespect.

I have no problem sending a letter of apology to the British PM but don’t think the tone of what is posted there is appropriate if I am hoping to be taken seriously.
:)
Maybe the Dixie Chicks can apologize for America at their next UK tour stop.
