An Actual ‘Letter to the Editor’ from the February 5th edition of the
Wichita Falls , Texas Times Record News:

Dear IRS,

I am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to pay taxes owed
April 15, but all is not lost.

I have paid these taxes: accounts receivable tax, building permit tax,
CDL tax, cigarette tax, corporate income tax, dog licence tax, federal
income tax, unemployment tax, gasoline tax, hunting licence tax,
fishing licence tax, waterfowl stamp tax, inheritance tax, inventory
tax, liquor tax, luxury tax, medicare tax, city, school and county
property tax (up 33 percent last 4 years), real estate tax, social
security tax, road usage tax, toll road tax, state and city sales tax,
recreational vehicle tax, state franchise tax, state unemployment tax,
telephone federal excise tax, telephone federal state and local
surcharge tax, telephone minimum usage surcharge tax, telephone state
and local tax, utility tax, vehicle licence registration tax, capitol
gains tax, lease severance tax, oil and gas assessment tax, Colorado
property tax, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma and New Mexico sales
tax, and many more that I can’t recall but I have run out of space and
money.

When you do not receive my check April 15, just know that it is an
honest mistake. Please treat me the same way you treated Congressmen
Charles Rangle, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank and ex-Congressman Tom
Dashelle and, of course, your boss Timothy Geithner. No penalties and
no interest.

P.S. I will make at least a partial payment as soon as I get my stimulus
check.

The federal income tax code is beyond repair. It needs to be replaced. Anyone interested in replacing the federal income tax code with a national sales/consumption tax and abolishing the IRS via The Fair Tax Act(HR25/S296) can become a Fair Tax supporter by signing a petition and have others also sign. You can freepmail me for more details.

I found out this AM that a tax on Tobbacco products are going up 45 cents.
Another tax on the poor and rich alike. I smoke cigars but how many urban people smoke cigarettes.
And wait til the tax on gasoline goes up.
This goverment sucks.

See you at 3 pm!

Look for the cute 50-something lady escorted by two super handsome 20-somethings. Our other signs say "Stop Feeding Commie Mommies" with a picture of Octomom and some of the biggest elected commies, and a GoGalt poster with "Arnold Shrugged" a John Galt quote and John Galt admonition to end income tax and fire government employees.

“What is “going Galt” mean?”

John Galt is the copper-haired, white-boy protagonist in Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. Galt leads a revolutionary movement in which all the top leaders of the banks and corporations forsake their corporate jets and perks to work in diners or as subway repair guys. No they weren’t fired by Galt. Rather, Galt urged them to go on strike and withdraw their expertise from an increasingly socialist world. Deprived of the genius of their genius, the world economy collapses.

I talked to one of my younger brothers yesterday a couple of times and he said the gov't was supposed to be sending us a $400.00 (plus a little) "stimulus" check.

I don't know if this is true or not. But if it is, we decided that we're taking ours and mailing it back to the government along with a small tube of KY Jelly explaining to them in detail what they can do with the returned check and why we enclosed the KY Jelly.

We're serious though. If they send us a check, we'll send it back and explain WHY.
