The correct answer is ~ “No. It’s wasting money on a failed technology”.

You’re smarter than most of the people that voted this morning in Tucson.

That question proves little more than that the woman writing it is ignorant, or the woman writing it is horribly biased, or the woman writing it doesn't like babies (which means, of course, that she's psychotic), or the woman writing it is just taking orders from her bosses in the Democrat party.

Those are your choices (about the woman).

The poll was written by people that get paid to write. You know, "journalists". I think that's why so many polls are so poorly written. They either really can't write objectively and effectively or advancing their agenda overrules any professionalism they could have developed.

We can zap this one.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

No, it is morally wrong AND scientifically stupid.

It’s not the business of government to distort research priorities with tax dollars.

This is money poured down the drain to satisfy the Planned Parenthood baby killers.

Thanks for the ping, dynachrome.

For all those who haven't voted yet, let's try and get the "no" as high as we can. There are evil ones still out there and we will slay them by uniting like we always do as a force for good here on FR.

The question and the poll answers are all skewed to distort the truth. Bush didn't ban Federal funding for ESC research. In fact he funded it for the first time ever. Pres. Bush simply limited it to existing ESC lines.

The two answers are a straw man argument. It isn't a choice between doing something important and doing something immoral. Given the consistent failure of ESCs to produce any viable therapies as opposed to ASCs and CBSCs which have done very well the poll choice is a logical fallacy.

The real choice is between funding an immoral course of research that holds no real promise and funding a morally neutral course of research that holds great promise. That makes the decision to pursue ESC research immoral on two grounds. One; it takes a human life. Two; it deprives successful research of needed funding.

Liberals can say nothing without lying.
