This is a smoke and mirrors issue.

Reason being, two days later the O signed a bill that included a ban on any funds for this type of research, and the bill is redone every year and always has the same provision in it.

Obama speaks out of both sides of his mouth.

I liked the article till the end where the author says that we will get a new earth and be free from disease there. From the article:

Although everyone wants to see such devastating diseases come to an end, we all must realize our work will only lead to a temporary alleviation. Jesus Christ, the true conqueror of disease and death, will create a new heaven and a new earth where the effects of sin have been removed. That is the cure we eagerly await.

I think thats fairly pie in the sky to say, if we don't work to eliminate these diseases they will continue to ravage mankind. God also gave us brains to better understand his works, these diseases are clearly challanges for the human race to overcome and thereby bring us closer to God. The method's we use to conquor these challanges are what will determine if we are succesful.

Yes, there is a thread posted this morning. And it was about the law he signed two days later that forbids federal funds for this type of research.

First he signs a bill allowing federal funds for the research, then two days late he signs a bill denying funds?
