3 cheers for Orly Taitz
WND ^ | 3/16/09 | Joe Farah

Posted on 03/16/2009 10:08:22 AM PDT by pissant

Southern California attorney Orly Taitz has emerged as a constitutional heroine in the fight to establish – albeit late – whether Barack Obama is even legally eligible to serve as president of the United States.

On Friday, she took the bold step of presenting Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts with a WND petition of some 330,000 names calling on all controlling legal authorities to do just that.

And she did it before 800 people at the University of Idaho where he was speaking.

I have to tell you, this lady is rapidly becoming one of my heroes.

This question of eligibility is quite a story – or, should I say, non-story.

Anyone who dares mention it is now demeaned as a "birther."

I'll accept the title, if a "birther" is anyone who believes the Constitution really means what it plainly says about the president needing to be a "natural born citizen."

The insults won't stop me or WND from covering this issue as we have throughout the campaign and since the election. It's not going away – not until we see the complete birth certificate instead of the certification of live birth, and get some answers to questions of obviously growing concern to millions of Americans.

Out of curosity, has anyone been able to verify the certificate no. of the COLB?

I’m curious after his selective service registration has a falsified DLN. One would think Hawaii would use some sort if not the exact same type of numbering system as the Feds.

IMO, it’s rather suspicious that every copy of his COLB I’ve seen has this number blackened out...

EVERYTHING you stated is FRAUDULENT ! Have you even listened to Peter N.R.O. Ogego’s statement ? Is is BEYOND CLEAR that he, in no uncertain terms, verified Hussein’s “well known” birth place as Kenya...subpoenas were issued, by both Atty Berg and Atty Kreeps, to ALL Hawaiian hospitals and Medical Facilities in HI and ALL gave the same response: They “CANNOT, without Barack’s written consent, release ANY records” ! Hmmm....guess what ? He did NOT consent to that ! What a surprise ! Also, yes his college records WOULD prove his origin because he applied to Occidental as a FOREIGN student ! Why do you think his attorneys are trying to keep those records sealed ? and THAT is NOT a law ! Bambi specifically requested by “strict mandate order” that ALL of his college records be kept secret ! So you can’t blame that on the law ! Are YOUR college records sealed from public view ? Mine aren’t ! Remember, politicians ALWAYS make available ANY info that promotes their cause and ALWAYS “HIDE” any info which is deemed incriminatory ! Face it, your messiah is a FRAUD !

Are you illiterate? The very words you posted state:

"The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth program was established in 1911, during the territorial era, to register a person born in Hawaii"

What in the world does this have to do with foreign births?

Furthermore, how could this possibly apply to Obama? Again, quoting you:

who was one year old or older and whose birth had not been previously registered in Hawaii.

Obama's birth was registered when he was four days old. Hence this does not apply to him.

Of course, because you can't. Instead, like a typical birther, you change the subject when your argument is demolished.

Factcheck attacks groups on both the right and the left. One negative post about the NRA doesn't make them a partisan lefty organization.

BTW, did you ever get around to doing some reading about who the president of the Annenberg Foundation was during the time Factcheck did its work on the birth certificate?

So in the middle of heated presidential campaign, they can grossly obfuscate Obama’s horrid voting record, history and statements on gun control, knowing that he is EXCEEDINGLY vulnerable on this issue, and you think they are even handed but just mistaken? ROFL. No wonder you kneepad for Ears.

I’m done with you. What flippin organization with a “conservative” president would fund Bill Ayers and Obama running ANYTHING EVER to do with education? Besides, that person you mentioned kicked the bucket.

Here's something for you folks. It was possible to file for a Hawaiian birth certificate, days after the birth; even if there was no medical professional or midwife present at the birth. It would basically involve a signed statement by the parent that "so and so child" was born in Hawaii on "such and such day", at 'such and such time', etc.. He are the provisions that allowed for that at the time :

"Exactly what kinds of birth records does Hawaii provide?

Posted by Mijgreb on Thursday, February 05, 2009 12:00:00 AM

Generally, folks don't know that Hawaii law, even in 1961, provided for multiple kinds of birth records, most of which are not what people think of when they think of birth certificates. The following is a description of those, including certificates for people not born in Hawaii. Go figure!

1. In the State of Hawaii, back in 1961, there were three different birth certificates that were obtainable:

a. If the birth was attended by a physician or mid wife, the attending medical professional was required to certify to the Department of Health the facts of the birth date, location, parents’ identities and other information. (See Section 57-8 & 9 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961).

b. In 1961, if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or mid wife, then, up to the first birthday of the child, an adult could, upon testimony, file a “Delayed Certificate”, which required endorsement on the Delayed Certificate of a summary statement of the evidence submitted in support of the acceptance for delayed filing, which evidence must be kept in a special permanent file.

The statute provided that the probative value of the Delayed Certificate must be determined by the judicial or administrative body or official before whom the certificate is offered as evidence. (See Section 57-18, 19 & 20 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961)."

Now if Obama was actually born in Kapolei Medical Center then there should be an actual hospital certificate with the names and signatures of the medical staff who were working there. Even if Ann Dunham had acccidently lost the certificate, she could go back and get some sort of duplicate form the hospital. But, if there no hospital document, then you obviously have to ask why there is no certificate or document from a hosptial. Again, there absolutely should be if he was born at K.M.C..

If you ordered a Certification of Live Birth from the DoH, then it would simply provide the basic information from the parent's testimony that was submitted to the DoH after the child's birth.

or administrative body or official before whom the certificate is offered as evidence.

Everything that I've read is true about Hawaii being loose with their birth certificates. An official, an administrative body? LoL!

Yeah, Obama is not from Hawaii.

Great info post Cyropaedia. I'll bookmark this one.

Factcheck critiques misleading ads by both right and left groups, and their articles enrage both sides. They've made people over a Kos and Huffingtonpost mad too with some of their critiques.

I’m done with you. What flippin organization with a “conservative” president would fund Bill Ayers and Obama running ANYTHING EVER to do with education?

You are talking about the Chicago Annenberg Challange, which was a non-partisan, non-political education project funded by the Annenberg Foundation. Ayers and Zero were involved in the project, but so were conservatives like Arnold Weber.

Besides, that person you mentioned kicked the bucket.

Wow. You're classy.

So what if Lenore Annenberg just passed away? She was president of the Annenberg Foundation up until just a week ago. She was president during the time Factcheck was founded, and during the time it photographed Bambi's COLB.

Given her history of political contributions, she's certainly no lefty.

Shame on you for defaming the dead.
