Mother was a kook but got a PhD and wrote a very long thesis on village blacksmiths in Indonesia. She is high IQ also

Thanks, I’m just trying to head off some of the mouth-breathers who insist on generalizing about racial issues where such generalizations don’t belong.

It is likely, for instance, that the average white person is more intelligent (whatever that means) than the average black person. In a logical world this would be of no greater interest than a similar finding that blue-eyed people are on average less intelligent than brown-eyed people.

Interesting, but since it gives you no information about the individuals you deal with, it isn’t earth-shattering information.

In our PC world, we’re supposed to pretend that the average racial differences don’t exist, since stupid people will extrapolate from the group average to the particular individual. And they will!

Meanwhile the same people so insistent that we must keep our eyes tightly closed about obvious racial facts are equally insistent that all people with pale skin are somehow responsible for the actions of people of pallor everywhere and thru all time.

Very odd split point of view these peeps have.

I doubt McCain's IQ was any higher than 120
