I didn't say anything about no one showing up. I'm not so naive to think that everyone there would boycott it. I know of several folks in my Parish who voted for That One, because they were mad about the state of the economy, and thought that the Democrats would do a better job. Ha! Too many Catholics are still 'genetic' Democrats, and think that the party is better on 'Social Justice' issues than the Republicans, so they totally ignore the abortion issue.
I'm simply suggesting that those pro-life students and families who believe that their Commencement will be ruined for them by That One being honored in such a way, could have their own gathering. Maybe there would only be 15 or 20 graduating students at it, but at least they wouldn't have what should be THEIR day marred by the presence of such a virulently ANTI-life person.

At the same time Notre Dame has a history of inviting newly minted Presidents.Really? I don't remember them having invited George W. Bush, but then, I usually don't pay any attention to what ND does, unless they do something really STOOPID, like this latest situation.
